Back to Copics but some stitching again

Hello all! A quick post from me... but yes, I had to do it again, although it takes time, I think I really like stitching with my little fingers :-)! Also it is the first time I have used digital papers only and I am quite satisfied with them, relieved in fact - no printing problem!
I have chosen to keep my card simple and I am entering it into the following challenges:
Anyone for Anya - Sketch #9
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge - Challenge 56 - "Sew" Special
Lily of the Valley - Challenge 52 - Here comes summer
ABC Challenge - T is for Thank you (I used "especially for you" instead of "thank you" because I thought it was a way to thank a friend too and "thank you" was too short a sentiment compared to the size of my image - if you disagree, no problem, ignore my entry then)

And the usual close up!

Stamp: The Greeting Farm - Izzy
Copics: B00, B02, BG000, C1, E000, E00, E25, E27, E29, E31, E50, E51, E53, R20
Papers: Pink Petticoat
Inks: Versacraft (Sand), ColorBox (Baby Blue)
Tools: ink blending tool, piercing tool, needle, DMC thread (E898)

Thanks for visiting and for all the lovely comments you leave! I really appreciate! Have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Delphine xx

The Sugar Bowl Challenge 34

Hi everyone! No stitching today! But an image coloured with Tombows again... Today's card is for the Sugar Bowl Challenge (challenge 34) only and we are asked to follow Tiets's great sketch and use punches (2 for me). Here is my card...

Stamps: Sugar Nellie - Manga Fairy, Personal Impressions - sentiment
Colouring: Tombows (055, 090, 451, 636, 673, 676, 761, 772, 947, 977) and distress ink (tattered rose for the skin)
Papers: Craftwork Cards and Bazzill (purple/dotted but you can't see it on my photo!)
Punches: MS Doily Lace, Carl (Circle)
Tools: CB folder (Swiss dots), Nestabilities (large circles, for the largest circle), ink blending tool, star dust stickles and gems from stash

And a close up...

I have used my Tombow 725 to ink the embossed CS and the sentiment.

Before leaving you, I think I should tell you that I am very happy because I won the Copic Colour Challenge last week and it is the lovely Squirrel who told me the good news! Thanks Squirrel :-)!
Good night friends and talk to you soon!

Hugs,
Delphine xx

Tombows used and... sewing machine wanted!!!

Hello everyone! If there was a special award for the time spent making a card, I could be the winner today... I wanted to make a card with stitching (hand stitched) and while stitching (I refused to count the HOURS it took me...) I realised I REALLY needed a sewing machine! At least, I have one good idea for next Christmas, not for trousers... but for cards only (I know it sounds crazy...)! If you know the perfect machine for that, do not hesitate, give me some advice!
Also, it has been a long time since I last used my Tombows, which I like so much, and thought I would use them instead of Copics for a change :-)!
Anyway, my card is for the following challenges:
Anyone for Anya - Sweet as Sugar
All That Scraps - Sewing
Simon Says Stamp - Things with wings
Friday Sketchers - Sketch 99 (I moved the sentiment because I felt the lower part of my card was too empty because of the image I used, I hope it is OK - if not, ignore my entry :-))
Crafty Catz - Stitching
The Crafty Pad - Challenge 67 - Stitching
Penny's Challenges - Anything Goes

And a close up

Stamp: CC Designs - Heidi among Flowers
Colouring: Tombows (055, 090, 098, 158, 195, 451, 703, 725, 761, 800, 947, 977) and distress inks (Tattered Rose and Faded Jeans for the skin, boots, sleeve)
Papers: BoBunny (Alissa love you) and BasicGrey (sultry/fandango) for the background paper
Tools and other: Piercing tool, needle, DMC pearlescent effects (E747), Shapeabilities (Flourish Accent), Star Dust Stickles and gems

That's all for now! Have a nice weekend, and don't forget, if you have any ideas for the sewing machines, please tell me :-)!

Hugs,
Delphine xx

2nd GDT card - ABC Christmas Challenge

Yes, here is my second (and last!) GDT card for the ABC Christmas Challenge. Time goes by so fast... but many thanks to the lovely team for letting me join them. It was my first experience as GDT and I loved it! I really had a wonderful time with them and will continue watching what they all do and taking part in their great challenges whenever I can.
The challenge this week is I for Ice with an added extra of snowflakes and our sponsor is Stitchy Bear Stamps, which you can find here. I have used one of their great images on my card and the DT have too. You can look at their wonderful creations here.

To have an "ice effect" I have used glitter card of course, glitter on the image + Copic Spica glittter pen on the letters and I have added more glitter on the embossed swirls...

Stamp: Let It Snow - Stitchy Bear Stamp
Copics: B00, B02, B05, C1, Y11, Y15, Spica glitter pen (sky blue)
Papers: Blizzard (Doodlebug), Gemstones
Tools and other: CB folders (d'vine swirl, ice crystals), crushed velvet flock, star dust stickles
Crystals and organza ribbon

It's your turn now! Why not join us? You could be the lucky winner!

Hugs,

Sexy girl...

Hello everyone! Sexy girl I said... of course, not me! Vivienne! One of my new stamps, I was dying to play with! I also saw a challenge last week asking for no DPs and the talented Coops, who keeps doodling, and whose blog you can visit here, and I thought I would like to try to make my background for this card. It is also based on a film (Cabaret), and I took inspiration from the DVD (for the colour of the background and sentiment), which you can see here. I am entering it into the following challenges:

Copic Colour Challenge - Challenge 60 - Use B93, E47, Y23 (used Y21 instead)
Simon Says Stamp - Let's go to the movies AND dry embossing (Cabaret)
ABC Challenge - S is for Sparkle (glitter card, glitter on the image, crystals)
Stamp Something - Something Layered (lots of layers of papers, I think)
And I would have liked to take part in the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge, which is One for the Boys... Vivienne is meant for men I think, but I do not think that's what they expect and they would probably refuse my entry!!

So, here is my card and small explanation after the recipe.

Stamp: Vivienne - Kraftin' Kimmie
Copics: 0, B00, B91, B93, B95, B97, E000, E00, E35, E47, E57, G16, Y21
Ink: Distress Ink (faded jeans)
Tools: ink blending tool, Shapeabilities die (Flourish Accent), CB folder (swiss dots)

For the three rectangles in the background I used Distress Ink trying to have light coming from the middle, but the frame around the image is a piece of CS I coloured with my B97 Copic. Then I used the colourless blender for the dots and lines and pasted my image on the "frame".
I guess that's all for now! You can leave a comment if you like, your comments mean a lot to me!

Secret Crafter stamp

Hello everyone! Tonight I am showing you a card (how surprising, Delphine...) I have made using a stamp by the Secret Crafter. It is for 3 challenges:

Copic Colour Challenge - Challenge 49 - YR16, BG49, E18 (my orange and brown are different, I do not have the exact colours)
Sketch Saturday - Week 98 - Sketch (I only added the ribbon and sentiment at the bottom because it was too empty, my image being quite small :-))
PaperPlay - Week 14 - Shiny Happy People (obviously happy, and for the shiny part I have added glitter to the orange and used flashy colours! So I hope it's OK!)

Stamp: Secret Crafter - Mollie Sitting
Copics: 0, BG000, BG05, BG09, BG49, E000, E00, E25, E29, E31, YR04, YR07 + Copic Spica Glitter Pen (clear)
Papers: Doodlebug (blue) and BasicGrey (Lime Rickey - tart and tiny)
Flowers: Petaloo (cream, I did not have matching flowers so I coloured them with Copics BG49, YR07 and colorless blender, and added crystals from stash)
Tools: ink blending tool, ColorBox ink (baby blue)
Ribbon and crystals from stash

Well, that's all for tonight! Thank you for leaving a comment if you have time, I love reading what you think!

Hugs,
