Stamps: Paperbabe Stamps Female Face Stamps Set (Mini)
Templates: Paperbabe Stamps Alice Portrait and Head and Torso
Colouring: Watercolour Markers on Canson Fontenay
Stencil: Paperbabe Stamps Polka Dots

Using Alice Portrait and Head and Torso templates, I drew my Alice on Canson Fontenay watercolour paper. I stamped her face using my Female Face Stamps Set (Mini) in Versafine Onyx Black and Memento Deluxe Ink. I watercoloured everything using different brands of watercolour markers (Zig, Winsor & Newton, Ecoline). I decided to add a few details in gold to match the brown and blue so I picked my Paperbabe Stamps Polka Dots Stencil and a Sakura gel pen to make gold dots. Then I added tiny dots and did some heart doodling ;)

Today, we’ve enlisted some super talented designers to inspire you with ideas on how to use these beautiful new stamps and templates! Hop along for lots of fun and inspiration!

Here is the entire blog hop line-up so you don't miss a single stop...

MiC Hop - Celebrating friendships with a hot cuppa

Hello everyone! Welcome to Make it Crafty Hop!

One of the nicest past times with friends is sitting around having a cuppa and chatting, don't you agree ;)? So with that in mind, this month we are inspiring you with some gorgeous images illustrated by Krista Smith and a whole range of new chipboard designs relating to Friends, Coffee and Tea!

Join us on the hop and be inspired for a chance to WIN one of two chipboard sets featuring the new friendship cursive sentiment designs. Trust me - they are amazing!! Simply leave a comment on each blog along the way as Zoe will be picking a winner from two random posts. Winners will be announced and contacted on Sunday 25th so get your hopping boots on!

Here is my card for today:

Image: Make it Crafty Coffee and Yarn
Colouring: Copics on Make it Colour Blending Card
DPs: MFT

I cropped and printed the sweet Coffee and Yarn digi and coloured it in Copics then fussy cut it. For the chipboard, I used the beautiful  Coffee Break sentiment and decided to put it in a Circle Frame to make it pop and also added a few Mini Stars to match the frame. I coloured all my chippies using a bit of Copics and then gel pen. Here is a close up on my image and the markers I used:

Skin: E000, 00, 11, RV02
Hair: E25, 31, 59
Eyes: B00
T-Shirt: R56, 59, RV99
Cup: E41, 42, 43

Here is a list of the blog hop in case you get lost along the way:
Delphine - you are here ;)

Have fun hopping and good luck! Hugs,

Paperbabe Queen of Hearts

Hello everyone! To celebrate the Alice in Wonderland release at Paperbabe Stamps, I am sharing a card using a gorgeous digi stamp called Queen of Hearts. I used the faint line version of the digi which comes with the regular digi with black lines, to have a softer look and nicer contrast with the eyes - very convenient!

I coloured the skin first, using E000, 00, 11 and RV02 for the cheeks and lips.

I then coloured the background quickly using RV00. As you can see, I have drawn a square around my image - I did that with the die I knew I was going to use, to know where to stop colouring.

I then coloured her hair with E19, YR27 and YR23 - a combo I don't often use but quite like! I also coloured her eyes in V12 and RV02, as a reminder of the background and pink on her face.

Next I did the crown. The red is R35, 37, 39, the gold is Y26 and the black is C9.

I then decided to add a bit of texture to my background, so I picked a Paperbabe Stamps Dots Stencil and applied brown ink using a dauber on my stencil. I then cut my image to fit the size of my die.

At last, I added the frame (MFT die) plus three Make it Crafty Heart Chipboard that I coloured in R37, then covered in stickles. To have matching hearts everywhere, I also added stickles on the heart of the crown.

Here is a recap of all the Copics I used:
Skin: E000, 00, 11, RV02
Eyes: RV02, V12
Hair: E19, YR23, 27
Crown: C9, R35, 37, 39, Y26
Background: RV00

That's all from me today! Thank you for looking, have a nice Sunday! Hugs,
Delphine xx

Make it Crafty Challenge!

Hello everyone! It's Delphine here today to share my card for our current challenge at Make it Crafty - ADD EXTRA DETAILS WITH A BLACK PEN. I think I went overboard with this one and decided to doodle a whole background for my image, the adorable Mila's Love Heart
. I have wanted to create that kind of cards for a while and the challenge was the perfect excuse to really try what I had in mind. So I made a doodled card, very inspired by Joanne Fink's work, which I absolutely love!

I first cropped my image in MS Word and drew a black rectangle to give me an idea of where I would stop my doodling and colouring.

I printed my image on watercolour paper and then I just doodled and doodled and doodled!! On the character, I added details to the heart and gave her a belt with hearts too. I coloured most of my image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens and added a few details in different gel pens.

That's all from me today! I hope you will give our challenge a try, it's fun!!! You can enter HERE! Hugs, Delphine xx

Krafty Tutorial: Copic background

Hello everyone! I'm back to share a Copic colouring tutorial, since I love focussing on images and adding backgrounds to them:)!
The stamp I am using is one of the two characters from the adorable Tweetie Pies set by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

First draw a rectangle in a pale colour to know where to stop colouring and draw the horizon line where the sky will "stop" in B000. Also draw the number of clouds you want using the same marker.

Colour the sky using B00 and B000.

Add texture to the clouds, using BV20 at the bottom of the clouds, then a few dots in C1 over BV20 and a few spots in C0 at the top. Also draw the top of the grass section using the lightest green you plan to use for the grass - YG01 for me here.

Colour the grass area starting at the bottom with your darkest colour and go towards the top using lighter and lighter colours. The markers I used are YG01, 03, 17, 67.

To add interest, you can add bushes in the background, here using the same colours as the grass. I draw an outline in my lightest green and then fill the bushes starting at the bottom and making dots - here with G28 then YG67.

Continue the bushes with your lightest greens - here YG17, 03, then 01.

You can also add trees the same way and even using the same colours - that's what I did here.

Next colour your character as you wish (all colours listed at the end of the post).

To give more depth to your scene, add darker blades of grass in the foreground. I used C7, BG78, YG67 and YG17. Also add a shadow under your character (YG67).

If you want you can add details with a gel pen to suggest flowers :)
Before I go here is the whole list of markers I used to colour my scene:

Sky: B000, 00, BV20, C0, 1
Grass and trees: G28, YG01, 03, 17, 67
Blades of grass: BG78, C7, YG67, 17
Skin: E000, 00, 11
Hair: 100, BV04, C7, 9
Eyes: BG93
Dress: C7, R35, 37, 39
Bird: B91, 93, 95, 97, Y17

Thank you very much for looking, have a great day! Hugs,
Delphine xx
