Colouring: Zig and Polychromos on Canson Montval
Other: Versamark, Embossing Powder, stars from Paperbabe Stamps Profile Face Stamp Set

I used the adorable Lulu and the dog from the set, stamped in Versafine. I watercoloured the background using Zig pens and I coloured the images in Polychromos. I stamped and embossed a sentiment from the set and then added a few stamped stars to match the wand.

July Krafty Previews... Day ONE!

Today we are sharing TWO wicked new stamp sets by artist Annie Rodrigue! The first is a hautingly cute witch called WITCH WANDA! This 4x4 clear stamp set comes with the sassy main image plus three fun coordinating sentiments! 

The second features another silly little witch called WITCH WILLA! This 4x4 set includes the sweet main image plus five coordinating sentiments!

Die: Lawn Fawn and MFT
Other: Versamark, Embossing Powder

I coloured my character in Copics on Make it Colour Blending Card, then die cut it with a Lawn Fawn die. I then added a bit of several green Distress Ink on the edges. I die cut a banner with an MFT die in a piece of black cardstock, stamped my sentiment and embossed in white.

I used some cute friends from the Oceans of Love set, coloured them in Copics and cut them out. I coloured the background using Zig wtc pens and cut it using an MFT Die. I stamped a sentiment from the Oceans of Love set on it, then put my characters on foam squares for a bit of dimension.

Tiddly Inks Tingo Challenge!

Hello everyone! There is a new challenge at Tiddly Inks this week, and our theme is TINGO ;)! So use the grid below, choose 3 things in line (including diagonals), and have fun creating!

I resized and cropped Molly in MS Word, then printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and die cut it. I coloured it in Copics and added Distress Inks on the background. I put my image on a piece of DP, added a few enamel dots and a sentiment.

I stamped Beauty in Versafine on watercolour paper and used Zig  to colour the background. For the image I used Polychromos. I then stamped little heart branches by Penny Black and that's it :)!

Paperbabe Stamps MDF Portrait Media Blanks Release!!

Hello everyone!! Oh exciting day!! Have you seen the peeks on the Paperbabe Stamps Blog? Kim has created MDF Portrait Blanks - such a brilliant, amazing idea!!! You can now paint 3D gorgeous ladies!!! I absolutely LOOOOOOOOVE this release and I hope you will too!! It's so original, different and so fun!! OK - I'm hooked!!!

There are THREE different MDF Portrait Media Blanks and today we are showcasing the Wavy Bunches one!! If you have not seen the previous peeks on the Paperbabe Blog, I would highly recommend stopping by - because they are simply breathtaking!! 

Here is mine - ETA retook all the pics by daylight and with lamp, so the details don't look just black LOL:

The MDFs can be either hung on a wall, or put on a stand as I did, which comes with the kit. They are about 8 inches/ 20 cms tall. I coloured almost everything in acrylics, only added a bit of shading in pencils and used some Posca pens too. I started by painting the skin in acrylics, then stamped the face details in Versafine using the Female Mini Face stamp set. For her sweater, I stamped some stitches on the collar, added lots of little pink Posca dots - inspired by Kim's dots on today's make!! The stars are MDF shapes too, painted in acrylics and covered in Glamour Dust for a bit of sparkle. I used some iridescent paint for the hair to have a bit of sparkle - see below with strong light in her face.

You can either paint the back or not - I chose to paint mine without going into details too much :)

Make it Crafty Isabella... in acetate

Hello everyone! I'm back to share my inspiration card for our current Make it Crafty CAS Challenge - "Clear Plastic/ Acetate"! Using acetate was a first for me and I have to say I really like the special look acetate cards have! Here is my make for the challenge :)

I used the adorable Isabella digi stamp, cropped her in MS Word, printed her on Make it Colour Blending Card and coloured her in Copics. I used a whole acetate base for my card, folded it in two with my bone folder. I put a piece of Kaisercraft DP on the back part of the acetate, and for the front, I used a Kaisercraft Scallop Border from the same pad in matching colours, then put my Isabella on foam squares, and added a sentiment using stickers from my stash.

June Release Day and Krafty Hop!

I stamped the background in Versafine on watercolour paper and used Zig pens to colour it. I stamped one of the girls from the Sandy Toes set in Memento on Make it Colour Blending Card, coloured it in Copics and cut out then put on foam squares on the background, and that was it :)

June Krafty Peeks... Day SIX and a challenge!

Hello everyone! Welcome to Day SIX of our June Krafty Previews! We're back today with our final set of the new release of clear stamps... and a Challenge! Today we are previewing an elegant new set of images and sentiments by artist Becky Pearce! This new 4x6 clear stamp set is called LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE! There are several large script words plus so many smaller sentiments that you can mix and match to create amazing combinations! Plus five lovely gem images for a total of  TWENTY-TWO amazing stamps!

For my sky, I used several Distress Inks applied with my blending tool to a piece of Canson XL MM and added a bit of water. I then stamped the sentiment (in 2 stamps) in Versamark and embossed it in white. On a piece of Make it Colour Blending Card, I stamped and coloured the star you can find in the set, cut it out, and added it to my card base.

I stamped my two flamingoes on another piece of card, coloured them in Copics too and cut them out. I put them on foam for a bit of dimension and voilà:)!

I took a piece of Toga DP and stamped flowers on it. I then stamped the big butterfly's body, 4 little butterflies and a sentiment from the Butterfly Pieridae set. On Make it Colour Blending Card, I stamped the wings, coloured them in Copics then cut them out and put them on my card base on foam for a bit of dimension.

June Krafty Peeks... Day FOUR!

I coloured my Fiona in Copics then cut her out. On a piece of Canson XL, I stamped my image and applied Distress Inks with a blending tool on the top. I coloured the sea using Zig pens then put my Copic Fiona on it.

Hello everyone! Our new CAS Challenge is starting today at Make it Crafty! The theme this month is ACETATE and the prize is the new selection of lasercut chipboard frames!! And they are A.MA.ZING!!! I love those frames!!!
