Dreaming of Spring at Without Words!

For today's card I was in a watercolournig mood and decided to use a gorgeous stamp by Crissy Armstrong - I have always had a soft spot for the beautiful innocence of the children she draws! Here is Liberty's Friend...

I really enjoyed creating a scene for her and added a Branch by Make It Crafty to fill the space a little at the top. The whole background was done using my Sennelier watercolours and I only used a bit of Distress Markers on the little girl to add a bit of details:)

Tiddly Inks and the Greeting Farm at Quixotic Paperie

Hello everyone! Me again:), to share a little card I made with some very cute stamps available from Quixotic Paperie - Alice Bean by The Greeting Farm - and a little Tiddly Inks stamp for my background...

Rebonjour! Me revoilà pour vous montrer une petite carte que j'ai faite avec des tampons très mignons disponibles chez Quixotic Paperie - Alice Bean par The Greeting Farm - et un petit tampon Tiddly Inks pour créer le fond... 

I stamped Alice Bean on Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured her with Copics. For the background, I stamped two hearts from the Tiddly Inks set called Harmony At Home on watercolour paper and coloured my background using two Distress Markers (Dusty Concord and Tumbled Glass). I cut out my Alice Bean, put her on foam squares and added the Hello I made with my Greeting Farm Delicate Words die set.

J'ai tamponné Alice Bean sur du papier Make It Colour Blending Card et je l'ai coloriée aux Copic. Pour le fond, j'ai tamponné 2 coeurs du set de tampons Tiddly Inks Harmony At Home sur du papier aquarelle et j'ai colorisé mon fond avec 2 marqueurs aquarellables Distress (Dusty Concord and Tumbled Glass). J'ai découpé Alice, collée sur des carrés de mousse et j'ai ajouté un HELLO fait avec ma découpe Greeting Farm Delicate Words die set.

Deep Ocean Challenge DT card :)

Hello everyone! Yes, you have read it right:)! I am very excited to announce I am a new DT member at Deep Ocean Challenge and I am very, very happy to be there, with amazing teamies and friends:) Thank you so much for having me!!! Oh what fun!!! Our :) challenge today is "Ribbon And Lace" and we are being sponsored by The Ribbon Girl very kindly offering a £10 Gift Voucher to their store! 

Here is my card with 2 pieces of ribbon and one piece of lace - so, CAS as always!

Other: Acrylic Paint, ribbon, lace, pearls

Mariah is one of the latest images by Make It Crafty from the Cute Colour Girls Collection, really fun with minimal details and clear eyes to allow you to be creative! I just drew the iris with a Pigma Micron pen and added a touch of white with my white gel pen:). I coloured Mariah with Distress Markers and found what I think is a nice match, the DP which looks like watercolouring:)

For the frame, I used iridescent acrylic paint but it doesn't show on the photo...

Happy Mail and watercolouring...

Hello everyone! I know... It's Monday:(... time to go back to school for me... but time for a new challenge at Cupcake, yay:)! Our challenge this week is "Lots of Layers - At Least 3" (I did my best lol!) and we are being sponsored by Lili Of The Valley generously offering a £10 Gift voucher to their store! 

I have used another one of my Tiddly Inks sets and I have to confess I have bought more than a few (ssshhhhh...), not only are the images adorable but the accessories and sentiments are always very well thought, I just love them! Make It Crafty Cute Girls

Hello everyone! Me again - Have you seen the new Cute Girls at Make It Crafty? Well if you haven't, you can see them all HERE! They are perfect for all crafters, illustrated with minimal details to practice your colouring skills - and so I decided I would practice too, using Distress Markers on them instead of my beloved Copics for a different look:)... Of course, my card is CAS - I know, I should practice on that too!!! Here it is...

Rebonjour! Avez-vous vu les nouveaux tampons digitaux super mignons de Make It Crafty Cute Girls? Si ce n'est pas le cas, vous pouvez découvrir toutes ces petites filles ICI! Elles sont parfaites pout tout le monde, avec très peu de détails pour pouvoir être coloriées simplement ou pour s'entraîner et ajouter des détails - j'ai décidé moi aussi de m'entraîner au feutre aquarellable Distress pour un rendu différent... Et bien sûr, ma carte est toute simple - je sais, là aussi je pourrais m'entraîner LOL!

I printed Sarah on watercolour paper and coloured with Distress Markers (plus 2 purple Tombows), added a Magnolia sentiment and a little chipboard heart from the Heart Flourish Borders set, coloured it in Copic and covered it in Stickles.

J'ai imprimé sur du papier aquarelle et je l'ai donc coloriée aux marqueurs aquarellables Distress + 2 Tombows violets pour être précise, j'ai ajouté un sentiment MAgnolia, un petit coeur colorié au Copic et recouvert de paillettes.

I tried my Distress Markers again and my sewing machine lol, I am happier with my markers than my machine but love how corners can hide some flaws;)...

J'ai fait une nouvelle tentative avec mes marqueurs aquarellables Distress et ma machine à coudre, et je suis plus contente de mes marqueurs que de ma machine (enfin, c'est parce que je ne suis pas douée, ma machine est très bien!), et heureusement les coins ajoutés cachent un peu les défauts...

Distress Markers & SOG

 Hello all! I am here today for my Quixotic Inspirations post and this week, I decided I would give Distress Markers a go (my 4th attempt) and use them for a gorgeous fairy by Some Odd Girl - Fairy Magic! 

Bonjour! Me revoilà avec la carte que j'ai faite pour Quixotic Paperie et cette semaine, j'ai décidé d'utiliser mes marqueurs aquarellables Distress Markers - 4e tentative - pour colorer une jolie fée Some Odd Girl - Fairy Magic! 

The sentiment and gorgeous Fairy are from the same set (Fairy Magic), the DPs are by Prima from the Melody and Moulin Rouge 6x6 paper pads. I have added 3 punched flowers and a few pearls. To colour my image, I used Distress Markers and I even wrote all the colours:)! Here is a close up on my image and list...

I have decided to try something new, that is colouring with my new never used Distress Markers and also added a bit of Tombows, with which I coloured a few images 2 or 3 years ago very awkwardly. And I used my sewing machine for the second time... and I have to say that at the moment, stitching by hand would be so much faster than using a machine LOL!!!

J'ai voulu essayer quelque chose de nouveau, mes marqueurs aquarellables Distress tout neufs, jamais utilisés encore, et un peu de feutres Tombows avec lesquels j'avais colorié maladroitement quelques images il y a 2 ou 3 ans. Machine à coudre utilisée pour la 2e fois et je dois avouer que pour l'instant je mets beaucoup plus de temps pour coudre à la machine qu'à la main... C'est dire:-)!
