A simple wedding card

Hi all! A quick post from me today, just to show you the card I made for my friend's wedding last week. I have kept it simple, though I was dying to add a bow and also wanted to use Flower Soft, but I didn't because I don't have the perfect glue and my card was meant to "travel" a little, so I was afraid the result wouldn't be really nice. A simple card then!

Coucou! Juste un petit message pour vous montrer la carte que j'ai faite pour le mariage de mon amie... Très simple, j'avais bien envie d'ajouter du Flower Soft et un noeud, mais vu que ma carte devait voyager, j'ai opté pour la simplicité!

WOJ Shopping Willow - "Brown" Girl & Paper Piecing

Hello everyone! My holiday is over (back to school tomorrow!) and I know I am going to be very busy at work for the next two weeks and will not have much time for making cards... So sad! Anyway, let's talk about my latest card! It is a first for me, for many reasons: first monochromatic card, first time I have used this beautiful Shopping Willow stamp and the famous Martha Stewart doily lace punch, first time I have tried paper-piecing, first time I have entered a card into some of the following challenges (namely Whiff of Joy, and ABC)! I hope combining is not a problem because some of the rules do not mention it at all. So this card is for:

Fin des vacances et retour au collège demain... Les 2 semaines à venir seront chargées et laisseront peu voire pas de temps pour la création de cartes... Sniffff! Mais parlons donc de la toute dernière...
Une première pour moi, pour plein de raisons: 1ère carte monochrome, 1ère fois que j'utilise ce magnifique tampon "Shopping Willow" et ma perforatrice Martha Stewart (Doily Lace), 1ère utilisation de la technique du paper piecing et 1ère participation à deux des challenges (Whiff of Joy et ABC)! J'ai fait cette carte avec 5 challenges en tête:

Copic Colour Challenge 52 - colour combo : C3, R11, G21. I do not have R11 & G21, so I used the closest colours that I had (YG11 instead of G21 and RV10+RV21 instead of R11). I combined C3 & YG11 for the trousers.

The patterned paper is by Doodlebug, the pink cardstock was embossed with my Cuttlebug and I used some pink and green Copic Spica Glitter Pens (Blossom 14 and Melon 06).
