Fairytales at Quixotic Paperie

Hello everyone! I am back to share a card I made with my new Quixotic Paperie stamps and dies! Some Saturated Canary inspiration today with one of the stamps from the Fairytales and Fables collection I fell in love with at first sight! Here is Red Riding Hood...

Bonjour à tous! Me voilà de retour avec une carte que j'ai faite pour Quixotic Paperie, avec un tampon de la collection Fairytales and Fables de Saturated Canary... Voici Red Riding Hood...

I stamped Red Riding Hood on Make It Colour Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloured her with my Copics. My DPs are by Maja Design (thank you Nat et Céline for telling me to use my pack!) and I thought the gorgeous SCACD die Breezy Branch Statement Corner would be perfect here:)

J'ai tamponné Red Riding Hood sur du papier Make It Colour avec de l'encre Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, puis j'ai colorié mon image avec mes Copic. Papiers Maja Design - Merci Nat et Céline pour l'idée d'entamer ce pack!!! J'ai utilisé la découpe SCACD Breezy Branch Statement Corner, qui me semblait faite pour ce papier:)

Quixotic Inspiration

Hello all! I'm back with my Quixotic Paperie make, a spring card featuring a stamp I have been dying to use, a gorgeous Saturated Canary girl:)

 She is called Liliana and I thought she would look nice, sitting in the grass, thinking :)... I coloured her with my Polychromos pencils, used Bo Bunny DPs and added two Make It Crafty Floral Corners (or here from MIC) which I coloured in Copic and embellished with a little pearl.

Cherry Blossom

Hello all! I'm back with my card for Quixotic Paperie, have you seen all the new gorgeous Saturated Canary stamps that are available for pre-order? And to celebrate, ALL Saturated Canary stamps are 10% off! I couldn't resist myself and I made a card using a stamp I love, Cherry Blossom!

I coloured Cherry Blossom in pencil, using a combination of Polychromos and Pablos. The DPs are by Toga, and they were my inspiration to colour my image. I added four Make It Crafty Ornate Corners Chipboard (also available from MIC HERE) and the border is from the Filigree Borders Set. I coloured all my chipboard with a black Copic.

Make It Crafty Colouring Tutorial Blog Hop

Zoe's excited to be releasing another colouring tutorial and it is on a topic that everyone always seems to want to improve... Colouring Hair!!  And in particular this e-book is, 'Colouring long hair in fine detail!'

When Zoe was trying to decide on an image that would be perfect for this tutorial she just knew she had to contact the gorgeous Krista Smith from Saturated Canary. And... Excitingly Krista has illustrated and generously donated the perfect character exploding with big luscious hair full of layers and bumps! Just perfect for you to learn all of Zoe's little secrets to colouring finely detailed hair.

We thought it would be fun to have a little hop (and a few give aways of course) where the fabulous MiC girls and Krista have followed Zoe's tips and tricks to colouring long straight hair. 

Here is how I have coloured this gorgeous image, following each step of Zoe's tutorial... 

As often, I have kept my card extremely simple, I did try to make it less CAS, but decided I liked it like that, it is not that I am lazy! I printed my image on Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured it with Copics, and I absolutely loved colouring it! that was my best colouring moment EVER, pure pleasure! Thank you so much Zoe, for this fantastic tutorial! It is extremely clear and detailed, with A LOT of pictures, and I coloured my image following each one of them. I know you will love it too!
