GDT Penny Black and More Challenge

Hello everyone! Last month I was very happy to be invited to join The Penny Black and More Challenge as Guest Designer for the month of October :) It's such an honour to join them for this challenge, thank you so much to Brenda and the awesome DT girls for having me!

The challenge this month is an autumnal photo inspiration:

I created a scene as I love doing with my stamps and used the colours from the photo and kept leaves on my make, but added  a little personal twist of love to my card:

Stamps: Penny Black Muse, Sprigs, All You Need and Tweeting Love

Colouring: Zig Clean Color Real Brush, Polychromos, Posca on Canson Montval

I stamped the main image called Muse and created a background for her using my Zig wtc markers and water. I coloured my Muse in Zigs too, then added Polychromos to add details. I then stamped the flowers at the bottom (from the Sprigs set) and the heart leaves at the top (from the All You Need set) and added colour with my Poscas. On the dress, I stamped 3 little hearts (from the Tweeting Love set) with my love theme in mind, and the sentiment from the All You Need set.

CAS Copic Airbrushing

Hello everyone! I'm back to share a CAS card with simple airbrushing I made for Copic Marker Europe. I love the look you get with the airbrush and it is a nice simple way to add colour to your backgrounds. 

I used an image (and sentiment) from the MFT Beary Special Birthday stamp set which I coloured with my Copics then cut out. I cut a rectangle the size of an ATC because it's a format I like and airbrushed it using different Copics starting from the bottom of the rectangle. I then put my image and sentiment on foam squares for a bit of dimension and added a few Papermania Dots.

I used Valentina Vampire, coloured her in Copics then cut her out. I cut a strip of Doodlebug DP to match my image, which I put on foam squares on my card base, and I stamped a sentiment from the set which I embossed in white.

September Release and Krafty Hop

Hello everyone! It's finally here! The September CHRISTMAS release is now available at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!! We've released ALL of the NINE new clear stamp sets that we've been sharing all week and we're celebrating with a krafty HOP!

To create my scene, I used 2 bears and the tree from the Shake It Up Polar Bears set, and picked one reindeer, the sleigh and a beautiful sentiment from the Shake It Up set. I coloured everything in Zig and Tombows.

September Krafty Peeks Day SIX and a Challenge!

Hello everyone! Welcome to our  SIXTH and FINAL Day of the Christmas Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! All of the new stamp sets you've been seeing all week will be released TONIGHT after the LIVE Online Release Party!

Today we are sharing TWO whimsical holiday stamp sets by artist Cheryl Grant! 

First up is DEAR SANTA, the most awesome Santa stamp set ever! Plus he's got a furry friend which makes it even better! The set includes the large main image plus SIX coordinating sentiments!

September Krafty Peeks... Day FOUR

Hello everyone! Welcome to Day FOUR of our September Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! 

Can you believe we aren't even half way through all of the NINE new stamp sets we are releasing?!

Today we are sharing TWO out of FOUR new stamp sets by the incredible artist Annie Rodrigue! A lot of you have been waiting for these holiday goodies... and it's time! 

First is HOLIDAY DADDY-O! This set features the patriarch of the family, putting the star on top of the Christmas tree! It's a lovely large image plus four coordinating sentiments! 

Next up is HOLIDAY MOMMA! Doesn't she look like every momma? She's busy unpacking all the Christmas stockings and decorations, and the stamp set includes five coordinating sentiments!

I stamped my image on wtc paper and watercoloured everything using my Zig pens. I then went back to add more shading mostly to the hair and face in Polychromos. I stamped and embossed a sentiment from the Shake It Up set in white and added a few Doodlebug sprinkles.

Hello everyone! Welcome to Day THREE of our September Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Today we are sharing a second fabulous new set from artist Becky Pearce! This one is an add-on to the set from yesterday! It is called SHAKE IT UP - POLAR BEARS! 

This sweet 4x4 clear stamp set is full of roly poly polar bear images with lots of accessories and gorgeous sentiments! You can use it on its own or in addition to the Shake It Up Snowglobe stamp set from yesterday's peeks for an endless combination of possibilities! There's a total of SIXTEEN stamps in this adorable set!!

I stamped and coloured all my elements on Make it Colour Blending Card and coloured them in Copics, then cut them out. For the background, I die cut a circle and airbrushed it using 3 Copic colours, and I created a white panel for the ground using MFT dies. I stamped and embossed the sentiment in white and added a few snowflakes in gel pen.

I stamped and coloured the globe in Zig on Canson wtc paper and I did the sentiment the same way. I stamped my little penguins and gifts on Make it Colour Blending Card and coloured them in Copics, then cut out all the elements to add them to my globe. DPs are old LOTV from my stash and I simply added two little pearls for a finishing touch.

Paperbabe Stamps August Release!

Hello everyone! It's time for our Paperbabe Stamps August Release Preview! And it's all about snowflakes! There is a fantastic set of gorgeous snowflakes in different sizes and matching MDF snowflake shapes too! Those snowflakes really are a must have for all your Christmas cards :) And they will be in the shop tomorrow morning here! 

I have made two cards using my stamp set :)

Stamps: Paperbabe Stamps Peaceful Flurries and Bottle Brush Tree 

Other: Versamark, Embossing Powder, gem, thread

I decided to use the biggest snowflake to make a CAS card on kraft, to really put the focus on the stamp which is so detailed. I embossed it in white and also embossed a sentiment from the Bottle Brush Tree set. I pierced my kraft base and then handstitched a white border - I really like handstitching and had not done it for a long time, it's very relaxing ;)

Colouring: Zig Clean Color Real Brush on Canson Montval

Dies: MFT

I die cut a piece of white card and then used several snowflakes and embossed them in white. I stamped Mayleedee Frost Fairy on watercolour paper and coloured her in light colours in Zig, I was looking for a watercoloured "fresh" look. I added a few touches of pencil in her hair only. I covered her wings in Wink of Stella and added a little gem to the snowflake in her hand.

Penny Black Halloween Scene

Hello everyone! I'm back to share a Copic scene I made for Copic Marker Europe, a Halloween one this time using Penny Black stamps!

I stamped my Penny Black Dark House and die cut it with an MFT die. I created a background behind the house (moon, trees and hills) and coloured everything in Copics. On another piece of paper, I stamped the little hedgehog from the Bewitched stamp set, coloured him and then did some fussy cutting. I put him on foam pads and added a little black stitching thread behind the balloon -though you cannot really see it on the photo.

Crafts and Me - The East Wind

Hello everyone! I'm back today to share a little card using the East Wind "Untitled", one of the latest stamps released in the Crafts and Me store, available as digi and rubber stamp - and there are many more to see HERE! 

I love her beautiful eyes and long flowing hair! I coloured her using Copics and added a few details using Polychromos. The colours and colouring of her face were inspired by the fantastic Basic Techniques When Colouring Faces Ebook available from Make it Crafty, full of great tips and extremely clear step by steps, very easy to follow!

I used a little wizard from the Make Your Own Magic set and coloured him in Copics. I die cut several brown DPs using MFT dies and stamped one word only from a sentiment in the set. For a nice finishing touch, I added a few Make it Crafty Mini Stars Chipboard, colored with a Posca pen and covered in Wink of Stella.
