GDT card for Cupcake Craft Challenges!

Hello all! It seems I have been away for ages, I had so many things to deal with! I hope things will be quieter soon and I will have time to resume my normal blogging activity! Maybe today is the beginning... I am very excited to share this card with you, because as some of you may remember, I have been invited to join the fabulous team at Cupcake for the month of December! Yes, I know, I just had to use stars and stripes with Miss Liberty! Here is a closer look at her and the recipe.

The stars are made from white CS, coloured with Antique Linen, the edges are inked with Dusty Concord, then stickled. All other white CS and white flower inked with Antique Linen.

Les étoiles sont faites avec du papier blanc, coloré avec de la Distress Antique Linen, puis Dusty Concord pour les bords, et ensuite couvertes de vernis pailleté. J'ai utilisé l'encre Distress Antique Linen pour tous les autres éléments blancs et la fleur.

Bonjour à toutes! J'espère que vous allez bien! Comme promis, une petite carte pour les challenges ci-dessus!

The big baubles in the foreground are a stamp by Magnolia, I cut them out, added DMC thread so I can hang them:-) and put them on foam pads.
Les boules sont en fait un tampon Magnolia, je les ai découpées, j'ai ajouté du fil DMC pour faire les attaches et les ai collées avec de la mousse 3D.

As you can tell, I made the flower... I cut 4 pieces of ribbon the same size, stitched the ends of each piece together to have 4 "bracelets", then piled my 4 pieces and stitched them together with just a few stitches in the middle of the flower. I used the image of the big snowflake next to it for inspiration... Then I added the punched flowers and pearl.

La fleur est totalement artisanale, comme vous pouvez le voir... J'ai utilisé 4 bouts de ruban de même longueur, j'ai cousu les extrémités de chacun afin d'avoir 4 sortes de bracelets, puis je les ai empilés et fixés ensemble en faisant quelques points au milieu de la fleur. C'est le gros flocon à côté qui m'a inspirée... Et puis j'ai ajouté mes fleurs perforées et ma perle.

An award and some news...

There are a few rules, first I need to pass it to 5 people, the most difficult part, I don't like choosing... I would like to give this one to Jenny, Scrapmumur, Kat, Kelly and Lizzy!

And I need to tell you 3 things about myself:
1. I am very slow when it comes to making cards, if I were faster, I would probably add handstitching, I love it! (I still don't have a sewing machine...)
2. I often buy the same books twice, one copy in French for my hubby, one in English for me... and I don't have enough shelves or walls!!!
3. I am very excited because I have a new blinkie... OK, I am going to be GDT for Cupcake Craft Challenges in December!!!:-)...

Je dois vous dire 3 choses sur moi:
1. Je suis très très lente pour faire mes cartes, si j'étais plus rapide, je coudrais davantage sur mes cartes (à la main, je n'ai pas de machine...)
2. J'achète souvent 2 fois le même livre, un en français pour ma moitié, l'autre en anglais pour moi... et je n'ai plus de place dans mes étagères!!
3. Je suis super contente, je vais être GDT pour Cupcake Craft Challenges en décembre:-)...

GD card for My Partner in Crafting Crime #15

Hello everyone! I hope you are all well and the week has started well for you! It has for me:-) I was picked as The Most Wanted at My Partner in Crafting Crime Challenge 12, which means that I was kindly offered to be their GDT for this fortnight's challenge and got to answer a few questions in their Interrogation Room! I love the idea... Thank you very much again, Jenny and Robin! The challenge this fortnight is "Marker Madness", so I hope you will be able to show how much you love your markers and join! All you need is to have an image coloured in with your markers! Who knows, you could be the next MOST WANTED!!!

For this marker challenge, I wanted to focus on colouring a large image. It is quite a simple card. The clock was stamped, then cut with my smallest Nestabilities Circle, then I coloured the outside with my BV02 Copic.

A special card and lots of stars

Hello everyone! I hope you are all well, despite the awful weather! Tonight I would like to share a card, special to me, because I made it with someone special in mind, my lovely cyber buddy who lives really far away, in Australia, but whom I feel really close to!
Bonsoir à toutes! J'espère que vous allez bien. Ce soir je vous montre une carte spéciale car je l'ai faite pour une personne adorable, qui vit bien loin, en Australie, mais dont je suis très proche! Voici comment la carte s'ouvre une fois le ruban défait...

That was my first attempt at a star-shaped card, I read a tutorial in one of my Magnolia Ink Magazines and thought it would be perfect for this Gorjuss Girl, called Little Star. The longest part was to make all the triangles and all the stars (2 behind the image, 2 for the sentiment on the front and the card itself) and it also made me realise I really needed to buy a scoring tool and board!
C'est mon premier essai de carte en forme d'étoile, après avoir lu un tutoriel dans l'un de mes magazines Magnolia, et cela m'a semblé parfait pour cette Gorjuss Girl nommée "Petite étoile"...

The swirls around the image were heat embossed with ivory? embossing powder and I added Crushed Velvet Flock to Antoinette's clothes.
