Art Journal Page for Tiddly Inks Challenge

Bonjour à tous! Nouveau challenge chez Tiddly Inks and le thème est SOUS/DANS LA MER! 

Hello everyone! I'm back with our new challenge at Tiddly Inks and this time it's UNDER THE SEA! You can see lots of inspiration on our challenge blog HERE :)

J'ai décidé de créer une page sur le thème marin - avec des sirènes - dans mon journal, ça faisait longtemps - et ça fait beaucoup de bien!! J'ai utilisé des tampons du set Mini Mermaid Fun, disponibles aussi en digis sous les noms Amy and Her Mini Mermaid Friends et Octopi My Heart :)

I decided to create an art journal page, it has been a long time and it felt soooo good to dive into my journal! I used stamps from the Mini Mermaid Fun stamp set, also available as digis in Amy and Her Mini Mermaid Friends and Octopi My Heart :)

Colouring: Copics on Make it Colour Blending Card and acrylic paint, gel pen on Moleskine journal

J'ai créé le fond avec de l'acrylique principalement - Fresco et Distress Paint - et fait le sable avec du papier imprimé collé et recouvert d'acrylique aussi. J'ai ajouté un rocher au marqueur acrylique et des algues au stylo gel Pentel. J'ai tamponné, découpé et colorié tous mes personnages au Copic avec quelques touches de crayon Polychromos et je les ai ajoutés à ma scène. 

I created the background in acrylics mostly - Fresco Paint and Distress Paint - and I used DPs for the sand which I covered in acrylics too. I added a rock using acrylic markers and weeds using Pentel gel pens. I stamped, fussy cut and coloured all my elements in Copics with a few touches of Polychromos and I added them to my scene.

Art Journal for Fab Friday!

Hello everyone! It's Fabulous Friday at Tiddly Inks and I have decided to take out my little Art Journal and have a play - a long play, but so much fun! This is Page 6 of my journal, featuring the latest Tiddly Inks image released - Wryn My Happy Thought - and she is just too cute!

Images and Stamps: Tiddly Inks Wryn My Happy Thought, Artemio, The Greeting Farm, Marianne Design, Kaisercraft

Colouring: Copics, Acrylic Paint, Posca pens, Gelatos

Stencil: CC Designs Heart Stencil

I added a lot of hearts but I kept seeing hearts when looking at this cute little Wryn ;) The background was done using acrylic paint - Pebeo this time and Distress Paint - I used a heart stamp by The Greeting Farm and circles by Artemio, added a bit of texture with a KAisercraft stamp. I used Posca markers to add little dots here and there, a bit of doodling and to outline the hearts. The alphabet is by Marianne Design. 

To colour Wryn, I used Copics, then glued her to my page.

Art Journal Page - Paperbabe Stamps Challenge #8

Hello everyone! And welcome back to a new challenge at Paperbabe Stamps!!! This time we are back with an awesome sketch for you! You can use it for a card, scrapbook layout, mixed media, whatever you like - have fun! AND we would love to see your Paperbabe Stamps in action, BUT you can now use any stamps you like!

I've been feeling a bit blue these past days and felt the urge to do an art journal page - this is the 4th page in my journal, you can see the others HERE - and so I kept the shapes of the sketch in mind to create it. Here it is, featuring the gorgeous MayLeeDee I love so much!

Stamp: Paperbabe Stamps Mayleedee mounted rubber stamp (also available as clear stamp and digi)

Colouring: Copics and Prismacolor pencils on Make It Colour Blending Card for Mayleedee

Background: Distress Paint, Gelatos, Pitt Artist pens

Other: Stencils, Stickers, Toga DP, text stamp

I stamped Mayleedee on Make It Colour Blending Card, coloured her in Copics plus some Prismacolor pencils, and cut her out. For the background, I used a piece of Toga DP for the hill, stamped text on it and used Pitt Artist Pens to add shading. The sky was made with Distress Paints, Pitt Pens and Gelatos and I used two stencils with ink and embossing paste. I added Gold stickles for a bit of sparkle. I finished by the stickers and little golden heart.

Art Journal Page with CC Designs

Hello everyone! I'm posting another page from my art journal today, the second page I did actually - although I have shared page 1 here and page 3 here. I'm using one of the latest CC Designs stamps released, the adorable Cupid :)

I stamped Cupid on Make It Colour Blending Card, coloured her in Copics then cut her out. For the background, I used mostly acrylic paint; for the sun, a stencil, modeling paste and gelatos, and I used 2 different stamps for the flowers (stamped several times) and went over the heart flowers with Pitt Artist pens. The letters are stickers.

New Beginnings at Tiddly Inks... and art journal:)

Hello everyone! It's our first challenge of the year at Tiddly Inks and the theme is "New Beginnings"! So grab your favourite Tiddly Inks stamp or digi and think along the lines of new year, new babies, new job, new home etc!!

I had new baby in mind and thought I would create a page in the art journal I started during the holidays. This is page 3 - page 1 is HERE and I'll post page 2 on Thursday ;)

I love Lullaby and had great fun creating a page for this image! I coloured my image in Copics and pasted her at the end. The background was done with Gelatos and Pitt pens and the letters are stickers covered in acrylic paint and stickles:).

Very first journal page for KKS #261!!!

Hello everyone! Happy Saturday! For today, I wanted to do something special to thank all the Krafty Girls for having me as Krafty Guest for December and I played with an idea I have had in mind for some time, inspired by fantastic videos by Vicky which really helped me dare try - my first ever journal page!

I wanted to create a stage for my star and made all the background out of pieces of paper following Vicky's technique . I have always been interested in backgrounds and filling my blank card, so I was very excited to try a new type of backgrounds. It all took me about 10 hours, but that's what holidays are for ;)
