January Krafty Hop and Release

  Hello everyone! Today we are celebrating the release of all the new goodies from our January Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! All FOUR new clear stamp sets are NOW available in the Krafty Shop, along with our new pretty Pretty in Pink Hybrid Ink, TWO new stencils and our brand new KKS Dots!!
So let's have a hop and check them out in action! 

First up is the incredible set from our new artist Neda Sadreddin called YOU ARE SUPER! Next is the super cuddly set by artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen called BEARY LOVE! Then we shared a fab new set by artist Emilie Goulet - YOU COMPLETE ME! And the last set is one with shapes we all use... HEARTS AND STARS!

Everything is available individually but if you have to have it all, we also have our Gimme Kimmie's Kit which includes one of everything we released this month at a discount, but for a limited time!

I stamped my image in KKS Wicked Black Hybrid Ink and coloured it in Copics. I then used Zig wtc pens to add a background to my image. I then added a few hearts, drawing the outline of some hearts from my KKS Happy Hearts Stencil with a Copic Multiliner and hen coloured them in gel pen. To finish off my card, I stamped a sentiment from the You Complete Me set and voilà!

November Krafty Hop and Release!

  Hello everyone! Today we are celebrating the release of all the stamp sets from our November Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! And also THREE new Hybrid Inks and FOUR stencils!! They are all now available in the Krafty Shop!

I stamped my image in KKS Wicked Black Hybrid Ink and coloured it in Zigs. To create the hill, I used the Krafty Scenery Stencil stencil and simply drew a line with my Zig pen following my stencil. The stencils are great quality and thick enough so that you can easily use them like that too!! To finish off my card, I stamped a sentiment from the Polar Pals set and voilà!

Paperbabe Stamps NEW Release!

Hello everyone! We have a new release for you at Paperbabe Stamps! Kim is releasing two fabulous clear stamp sets, a must have for your Mixed Media projects or cards! 

For my makes today, I have used the Isometric Fun set and decided to make some CAS cards - with no colouring!!!

On these two cards, I stamped the grid from the Isometric Fun set on a white background. I then used elements from the set to stamp some coloured triangles. On my first card, I added the Just a Note sentiment from the Butterfly Pieridae set, and the You Quote Comfort Zone rubber sentiment for my second one.

For the cards below, I created my backgrounds on watercolour paper with Zig and Tombow markers, then stamped the Isometric Fun grid on my backgrounds.

On my last card, I stamped the Thank You sentiment in Versafine and added hearts from the Butterfly Pieridae set using the grid's guidelines.

July Krafty Peeks... Day THREE and a challenge!

 Hello everyone! Welcome to Day THREE of our July Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! We've got a super sweet stamp set to share with you today! This one is called MANATEE PALS!

I used the background stamp combined to one of the manatees from the set and coloured my scene using Zig Clean Colour Real Brush and Ecoline Pens. I added a few touches of gel pens and embossed one of the sentiments from the set using white embossing powder.

I coloured my spacecraft with Copics then cut it out. I created a background on wtc paper with Zig pens and then put my Copic image on foam squares for a bit of dimension and voilà ;)!

Music in Copics and more

Hello everyone! It's Delphine here today to share a Copic make. I thought I would make a CAS card coloured in Copics and show how to enhance your Copic colouring by adding details to it using other media. 

The image I'm using is called Grooving Jasmine by Make it Crafty.

I first cropped my image in MS Word and instead of using my regular Copic paper, printed it on Canson Montval to be able to watercolour too and use other media. Please note, the watercolour paper will not react the same way Copic paper does, the ink may bleed more, the blending be less efficient, the colours may be darker too - it will all depend on the watercolour paper you choose to use. 

I coloured Grooving Jasmine completely, using the following Copics:

Skin: E000, 00, 11, 13, RV02

Hair: 100, BV04, C7, 9

Purple: V09, 15, 17

Pink: RV02, 04, T3

Blue: B95, 97, 99

Gold: Y11, 26

I then thought I would make a simple watercolour background matching my Copic colours, so I used pink and purple Zig watercolour pens. 

I then went back to work on my image using a bit of Polychromo pencils to add a bit of depth, so I mostly added black to the purple clothes and hair, and purple to her skin. I also added some white highlights with the very thin brush of my Copic Opaque White paint. I doodled a few notes in white gel pen too.

And lastly, to really make my image pop, I used a Make it Crafty Chipboard frame. I coloured it using Posca pens and covered the black and pink parts in stickles. I aslo added white dots to my background using a Molotow Paint Marker and changed the colour of my notes too.

April Krafty Peeks... DAY THREE

 Hello everyone! Welcome to Day THREE of our April Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Today we are sharing a very special set, that can be used to show support to someone who has been going through difficult times. It's a beautiful scripture sentiment set by Artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen and it's called ENDURING LOVE!

We are pleased to say that a portion of the sales from this stamp set will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.

When I saw these gorgeous sentiments, Bible Journaling and Doodling jumped to my mind, so here is my make for today:

I simply stamped my sentiment on Arches Paper and built my image around it. I drew a candle in Pigma Micron, taking inspiration from Joanne Fink's work which I love. I then watercoloured everything using wtc pens and added details in gel pens.

Paperbabe Stamps Blog Challenge Reminder

Hello everyone! A post today to remind you there is still time to join our SPRING Challenge at Paperbabe Stamps! You have 3 days left to enter HERE! 

For my spring make, I used my Whimsical Woodland sets to create a sweet spring scene:

Stamps: Paperbabe Stamps Whimsical Woodland Set 4 (bird) and Set 3 (hedgehog and bunny)

Colouring: Zig and Ecoline markers on Wtc Tile, gel pens and Stabilo, acrylic ink

I used a Watercolour Tile to test it and stamped the bunny and hedgehog from my Whimsical Woodland Set 3 and a bird from the Whimsical Woodland Set 4. I then created a background in watercolour using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and Ecoline Markers - tricky with this paper since the paper needs to be wet before adding marker or the lines won't go... and the paper does not take much water. I then added details in Stabilo 68, Pigma Micron and Gel Pens.

A Doodled Tiddly Inks

Hello everyone! I'm sharing a sweet Tiddly Inks make today - a bit special to me since it involves A LOT of doodling! The image called Wryn Waits inspired me to create a special background for her:

Colouring: Mixed Media on Canson Montval

The whole background and image were watercoloured using Zig Clean Color Real Brush and Ecoline Brush Markers. I then used my Polychromos to do the hair. I doodled using Pigma Microns in different sizes and coloured and added details in Sakura gel pens, Stabilo and Staedler pens.

Using Alice Portrait and Head and Torso templates, I drew my Alice on Canson Fontenay watercolour paper. I stamped her face using my Female Face Stamps Set (Mini) in Versafine Onyx Black and Memento Deluxe Ink. I watercoloured everything using different brands of watercolour markers (Zig, Winsor & Newton, Ecoline). I decided to add a few details in gold to match the brown and blue so I picked my Paperbabe Stamps Polka Dots Stencil and a Sakura gel pen to make gold dots. Then I added tiny dots and did some heart doodling ;)
