I used Painters Palette, coloured in Copics on Make it Colour Blending Card. I wanted the focus on the image, so only added a little something in the bottom right-hand corner - I die cut a heart, coloured it in Copics, and formed the word "Art" using stickers.

Hello everyone! I'm back to share a sweet Easter card featuring one of the latest CC Designs stamp released called Swiss Pixie Easter Lucy :) I made a little scene for her:

Aren't those Baby Shoes the cutest? I just had to use them and combine them with hearts :)! I coloured them in Copics, die cut them with an MFT Die then added a bit of Distress Inks with my Blending Tool. The DPs are by Toga and I added a little die cut heart.

All about Love!

Hello everyone! I love having hearts on cards, so with Valentine's Day just around the corner, now is the perfect time to share some love ;)! Here is a card I made for Copic Marker Europe :)

I used one of the adorable Cupids from CC Designs, stamped and die cut with a heart frame die from the CC Designs Cutter Make A Card #12 Smoochies Die. I stamped a second Cupid on another piece of card to colour him with my Copics, then fussy cut it and pasted it on my framed Cupid. I added a sentiment from the Cupids stamp set and used little hearts from the frame, coloured them in Copics and adhered them to the card.

Copic Snowy Cottage

Hello everyone! I'm back to share a Copic Christmas scene (of course!!), but one with DPs today - I do love using DPs from time to time too and you can still make scenes with them ;)!

I used the adorable Lucy With Scarf and Roberto's Rascals Winter Cottage both by CC Designs. I coloured them with my Copics, cut them out and picked DPs by Bo Bunny. I put my images on foam squares for a bit of dimension, then added a few Snowy Days Enamel Dots by CC Designs. The sentiment is by Paperbabe Stamps, from the Sparkle Bright Sentiment set.

Pumpkins!

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a seasonal card I made for Copic Marker Europe, a card with pumpkins which I love colouring - especially at this time of year!

The stamp I used is Pumpkin Patch by DoveArt Studios and comes already shaded which makes the colouring really easy! I coloured my image in Copics and added a sentiment from the CC Designs Happy Harvest Sentiment Set. The die I used is an MFT pierced rectangle die and the DPS are Bo Bunny and Doodlebug.

DoveArt Studios Fall Release!

Welcome to the DoveArt Studios Fall release!

Passionate Paper Creations and Friends FB is hosting a fun weekend and CC DesignsRubber Stamps is giving away some great prizes!  If you haven’t joined PPC&F FB page you will want to do it now so you can see all the fun going on today! I stamped my background and decided to airbrush it - in purple of course ;) I thought I would pair it with a stamp with a spider on it and picked my CC Designs Meoples Ghost Boo, coloured in Copics and put on foam squares for a bit of dimension.

Colouring Smooth Sand Tutorial

Hello everyone! It's Delphine here today to share a little tutorial I did last week for Copic Marker Europe on how to colour smooth sand. Sometimes I like adding little dots to sand to create texture but I also really like smooth sand, creating texture just by simply blending, which is what I am showing you today.

To colour sand, I usually use either the E30s (E30 to E35) or the E40s, which I have chosen for today's post. I'm only using E40, 41, 42, 43 here and the image I'm using is The Beach digi stamp by Make It Crafty.

Step 1

Start with your darkest colour - E43 - and create small horizontal ripples with your marker. Put some E43 near the edge of the water which will be darker due to the sand being wet there.

Step 2

Take your next lightest colour - E42 - and go over the ripples you have created, making them a little bit larger and longer.

Step 3

Take your next colour - E41 - and again, go over what you have previously done and widen the areas you have already created. Colour following the direction of the ripples, making horizontal sweeping strokes. Make sure you leave some white "stripes", which will help give more depth to your sand.

Step 4

Now take your lightest marker - E40 - and lightly fill the spaces you have left white, always colouring following the direction of the ripples. 

If you think your sand is not dark enough or if you want more contrast, you can repeat the 4 steps once, going again from dark to light.

Next colour, the rest of your background.

And finish your card in a way that you like :) Here, I have added a cute character by CC Designs, called Swiss Pixie Summer and created a frame with my By DIEzyne Big Stiched Rectangles.

CC Designs Copic scene

Hello everyone! I'm back to share a summer card I made for Copic Marker Europe - a simple scene done with a stamp, a stencil, my airbrush and of course my beloved Copics!

The cutie I have used is called Pina Colada by CC Designs from the June release. I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black, coloured her in Copics and then cut her out. 

For the background, I used a piece of drawing paper instead of smooth card to have a bit of texture, because I really like how the airbrushing looks on it. I chose a CC Designs stencil called Sun And Surf, which includes the sun and the waves. I airbrushed the sun first, starting with my lightest colour to be able to go darker then and not make the mistake of starting too dark. I then used a darker shade of yellow and ended by adding a bit more of my lightest yellow. 

For the waves, I picked different shades of blue, did the waves with my stencil and put a paper mask to create the horizon. I then stamped a sentiment from the CC Designs Pool Party sentiment set.

I coloured Little Cloudy in Copics and the background was done using acrylic paint. I stamped my sentiment in Versamark and embossed it in white. I then cut out my Swiss Pixie and her cloud and put them on foam squares.
