Krafty Tutorial - Savannah!

Hello everyone! I'm back to share a step-by-step tutorial on a savannah scene make. I have used a super sweet giraffe from the Kraftin' Kimmie Wild World set and decided to give it a background.

I die cut a piece of paper and airbrushed it using my Copics. I used YR07, 16 then Y15, 11 to suggest a sunset scene.

I then drew a background, using the chisel nibs of my C7 and C9 to create the ground, then I doodled the rest in Copic multiliners. For the blades of grass in the foreground, I used my Copic Small Brush Multiliner.

I stamped the giraffe from the Wild World Set in Wicked Black Hybrid Ink, did some fussy cutting and coloured it in Copics. Quick tip: I coloured the whole body without paying attention to the dark "spots" of the giraffe, much easier to place the shadows than going around all the little details ;)! On the photo above, I used E41 and E50 only - you will see the rest of the colouring below!

I put my savannah background on a card base, then added my coloured giraffe on foam pads for a bit of dimension. Here are all the colours I used:

Giraffe: E29, 41, 50, 99, W1, 3
Background/ Sky Y11, 15, YR07, 16
Background/ Black: C7, 9, Copic multiliners

Girafe: E29, 41, 50, 99, W1, 3
Fond/ Ciel:Y11, 15, YR07, 16
Fond/ Noir: C7, 9, Copic multiliners

And I thought why not put a frame? That would make a nice gift!

Thank you very much for stopping by, have a great day everyone! Hugs,
Delphine xx

My Bujo - Weeks 1 and 2...

Hello everyone! I'm back to share the first 2 weeks of May I created in my bullet journal... a bit late, I know but I'm behind with my posts ;)!! For the month of May I decided to use black and white only - you can see my title page HERE and my monthly page HERE.
So I continued with my black and white idea but did not use any stamps this time, just doodling.

MAY WEEK 1:

I used Pigma Micron pens for that week and repeated the same kinds of flowers, leaves and grass. Here is the whole week:

For the second week, same idea but this time doodling all sorts of flowers and leaves for my fantasy garden, inspired by Joanne's Fink Zenspirations.

WEEK 2:

Doodling was done using Copic Multiliners on that page.

I'll be back to share my Week 3 this weekend - since Week 4 is starting on Monday, I'd better hurry sharing and catching up ;)!

Thank you very much for your visit, enjoy the rest of your day! Hugs,

Paperbabe Stamps Challenge #72

Hello everyone! Today is the start of a new challenge at Paperbabe Stamps and we have an easy one for you - ANYTHING GOES! As always, you can win a Paperbabe Stamps Gift worth up to £20!

I've been in bujo mode... well I decided to start a bullet journal, we'll see how I stick to that but maybe I'll get better at organizing my time ;) I have made my monthly page for May using Paperbabe Stamps super cute animals from the Whimsical Woodland Sets:

Stamps: Paperbabe Stamps Whimsical Woodland Sets and Butterfly Pieridae
Doodling: Copic multiliners

First I wrote the numbers, days and May word then I created my scene. I stamped a rabbit from Whimsical Woodland Set 3, 2 birds, a mushroom and the big butterfly from Set 4, and used the branch from Set 2. I also added 2 little butterflies from the Butterfly Pieridae set. The rest (flowers, grass, stems, leaves, frame) is doodling, done in different Copic multiliners.

It was great fun to do!

For more inspiration, please visit my teamies HERE! Hope you will join us too! Thank you very much for your visit, have a great day! Hugs,
Delphine xx

Inspirational Wednesday

Hello everyone! It's Inspirational Wednesday at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and my turn to share a card with you! For my make, I chose to use a very summery image, one of the fab girls from the Sandy Toes set which I love. I decided to make a one layer card (not unusual for me ;)) but did a doodled background for a change :)

Stamp: Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Sandy Toes
Colouring: Copics on Make it Colour Blending Card
Other: Copic multiliners, Sakura and Pentel gel pens, Staedler Triplus, Stabilo 68

I coloured everything using Copics then added details using Copic multiliners and other pens on top of my Copic colouring. This doodled background is inspired by Joanne Fink's work which I'm a great fan of!

Hope you like my different make for today! Thank you very much for your visit, have a fantastic dday! Hugs,
Delphine xx
