For Cassandra.... help is needed!

Hello again :) I'm back for a special post today since Little Miss Muffet Stamps is sponsoring a special young girl, Cassandra, who is deaf. She is our friend Barbara's 11-year-old daughter, a little girl who attends public school and has asked for real-time captioning (RTC). RTC is where a captionist will type up what is spoken in class and display it on a tablet so she can read information that she has missed. Without it, she struggles every day and has to guess at the meaning of half-words and sentences. Anyone can imagine how vital it is for her to get RTC... it's so obvious... and yet, it is a fight to get it, which is quite unbelievable :(

So today's event at Little Miss Muffet Stamps is to raise awareness and help spread the word. You can read more of Cassandra's story HERE and sign the petition HERE if you would like to help. For each signature, the school administrators receive an email about the RTC request. 

To support this petition, Little Miss Muffet Stamps has released a dozen new images to play with. Plus there is a freebie in the store for everyone to join in! We'd love to see what you create... but more importantly, we hope you can sign the petition and help us spread the word!

Here is my make for this special cause, using the lovely Polka Dot Pals Amelia which seemed the perfect choice to me :)

Tulips, hearts and airbrush for Copic Europe!

Hello everyone! I'm back with a card I made for Copic Europe, with tulips, hearts and a simple airbrushed background. One of the reasons I LOVE my airbrush is, if you are like me and colour images first, it is perfect to make your own papers and have an exact colour match with your image. Here is my card...

Bonjour à tous! La carte du jour... des tulipes, des coeurs et un fond à l'aérographe pour Copic Europe! Une des raisons pour lesquelles j'adore mon airbrush, c'est que vous pouvez facilement créer vos propres papiers et les assortir parfaitement à votre image... très pratique si vous êtes comme moi et coloriez votre image en premier, sans choisir de papier ;)!  

I used the adorable Ualani by Little Miss Muffet Stamps and coloured her with my Copics on Make It Colour Blending Card. I die cut her with an oval die by My Favorite Things, then used my airbrush to add a bit of colour around my image. If you are careful, there is no need to mask your image to do so. For the background, I used a heart stencil by Kesi' Art and picked 4 Copic markers I used to colour my image. I then added a little wooden heart coloured with a red Copic.

J'ai utilisé la petite Ualani disponible chez Little Miss Muffet Stamps et je l'ai coloriée au Copic sur papier Make It Colour Blending Card. L'ovale est une découpe My Favorite Things.

J'ai fait le fond avec un pochoir Kesi'Art, mon airbrush et 4 Copic déjà utilisés pour l'image. Ensuite, j'ai ajouté un petit coeur bois colorié avec un Copic rouge aussi.

Airbrushing Sunshine :)

Hello everyone! I'm back with another 100% Copic card I made for Copic Marker Europe, but a bit different this time. We have had sunshine here in Paris and I guess this is where the inspiration for this card comes from - and maybe a desire to go on holiday!

Bonjour à tous! Je vous montre aujourd'hui une carte 100 % Copic que j'ai faite pour Copic Marker Europe, mais un peu différente cette fois-ci. Le week-end ensoleillé à Paris a du m'inspirer et me donner envie de patir en vacances! 

This cute little girl is Narah by Little Miss Muffet Stamps, from the Polka Dot Pals range. She seemed the perfect choice for summer holidays and to match my sunny background. To do the background, I used a great A5 stencil by Dutch Doobadoo called Circles. I airbrushed it all with several warm colours on white card, then cut a strip to make a border and also diecut a little sun with a Spellbinders Circle die. I put my "sun" on foam squares for a bit of dimension. I also airbrushed a piece of white paper with the same colours and stamped Sunshine on it - part of a Paper Makeup Stamp sentiment.

Cette petite craquante s'appelle Narah, un tampon Little Miss Muffet Stamps de la gamme des Polka Dot Pals. Elle m'a semblé parfaite pour illustrer les vacances d'été et aller avec mon fond ensoleillé. Pour le fond, j'ai utilisé le pochoir Dutch Doobadoo Circles. J'ai utilisé mon airbrush avec des couleurs chaudes sur papier blanc, puis j'ai coupé une petite bande pour faire une bordure et prélevé un petit soleil avec une découpe Cercle Spellbinders. J'ai placé mon "soleil" sur mousse 3D et j'ai aussi passé une bande de papier blanche à l'airbrush avec mes mêmes couleurs et au tamponné "Sunshine" dessus.

Happy Holidays...

I merged Chrissie with Winter Town and added the Large Pine Tree several times to fill the scene a little. I printed it on Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured it with Copics, then added a CC Designs sentiment. And I put my little scene in a frame as a little gift ;)

J'ai combiné Chrissie avec Winter Town et ajouté le sapin Large Pine Tree plusieurs fois pour remplir la scène. J'ai imprimé sur papier Make It Colour Blending Card et tout colorié au Copic, puis j'ai ajuté un sentiment CC Designs. Et j'ai mis ma scène dans un petit cadre pour faire cadeau;)

To make my scene, I used several images from the Paris Elements for the setting: the sidewalk, the table, the chair, a  part of the window and the name. And here is a  close up on this gorgeous lady I love and who is available as RUBBER!!!

Pour construire ma scène, j'ai utilisé plusieurs images de Paris Elements: le trottoir, une table, une chaise, une partie de vitrine et le nom Café de Paris. Et voici un gros plan sur cette élégante demoiselle, disponible en tampon caoutchouc:-)!

It took me a very long time to decide which ones I would use and I know I'll be using them A LOT - and not just because I am French LOL!!!
I wanted to have this gorgeous couple as the focus of my image and decided to use them on their own! This image is called Le Baiser Volé by Little Miss Muffet Stamps, and you can buy it as digi or BIG NEWS as rubber as well! Woohoo!
The adorable sentiment is from the new set I Heart You Tabs 2 by Whimsy Stamps, and of course the chippies are Ornate Corners by Make It Crafty! And my image is coloured with Copics on Make It Colour Blending Card!

Hello all! Me again:-), this time to tell you about everything that is going on at Little Miss Muffet Challenges! For the rendering of texture on Saffron's hat and muffet, credit goes to Barbara, I coloured the white like her:-)! Pour le rendu de la texture sur le blanc du chapeau et manchon de Saffron, je me suis largement inspirée de la colorisation de Barbara:-)!

Then I thought I would make another little card using exactly the same scene and keeping the colours the same but using pencils this time, for a different style... Here is Saffron, coloured with Polychromos:-)...
Ensuite j'ai voulu faire une autre petite carte en gardant la même image et des couleurs semblables mais en coloriant au crayon, pour un style différent... Voici donc Saffron coloriée avec mes Polychromos:-)...

Little Miss Muffet New Release

Hello all! I hope you are well? Today is release day at Little Miss Muffet Stamps, and there are 3 more lovely images! I made 2 cards, one featuring a Sugar 'n Spice Doll, Paprika, the other with Summer Monkey! Let's start with my doll:-)!

Bonjour à toutes! Nouvelles sorties chez Little Miss Muffet, 3 adorables images! J'ai fait deux cartes pour vous présenter deux d'entre elles, une avec une petite poupée, Paprika, l'autre avec un petit singe:-)! Commençons par la poupée...

Since I made a "wet" card not long ago, I thought it would be nice for Paprika to play in a puddle, after the rain had stopped:-) Après vous avoir montré un personnage sous la pluie, j'ai voulu vous en montrer un autre après la pluie, jouant dans une flaque:-)!

For my grass and sidewalk, I cased ForgottenScraps' brilliant idea and explanations, and I tried, well struggled to make a puddle... I drew and coloured the puddle first, then added colour to the sidewalk. For the puddle, I started drawing ovals with my BG000, and added touches of B91 on the left and right, then C1, 0, BG000 in different places all around, a bit of white pen highlights, then again B91, a bit of C3, 1, 0 again and random strokes of blender... A totally amateurish puddle!!! For the sidewalk, I knew something was bothering me, and could not figure out what it was before finishing colouring my image... Then it struck me! I had very carefully drawn parallel lines (which don't even look parallel, but I swear they are!)... and they looked wrong (also because I did not draw them at the right place)... I think I should have taken perspective into account! Arrrrghhhh... I'll do better next time!!!

Pour mon trottoir et mon herbe, j'ai copié l'idée et les explications géniales de ForgottenScraps, et j'ai essayé de faire une flaque. Pour le trottoir, je savais bien que quelque chose me dérangeait et je n'ai compris évidemment qu'après avoir colorié toute mon image... Je me suis appliquée pour faire deux lignes parallèles (qui n'ont pas l'air mais le sont)... et ça clochait... J'ai oublié la perspective! Arrrrggghh, quelle erreur, je ferai mieux la prochaine fois!

Little Miss Muffet Challenge #16 GDT cards:-)

Hello all! I hope you are well? It is time for another great challenge at Little Miss Muffet and this time we would like you to use "multiple images"! And remember, you do not have to use Little Miss Muffet Stamps images to join us:-)! 

Bonjour à tous! C'est l'heure du nouveau challenge chez Little Miss Muffet, et cette fois nous voudrions que vous utilisiez "plusieurs images" dans vos créations! Et je vous rappelle qu'il n'est pas nécessaire d'utiliser des images Little Miss Muffet pour jouer:-)! 

Actually, I have not made 1 but 2 GDT cards! I had so much fun playing with these adorable Sugar 'n Spice dolls, I just had to make multiple cards too:-) And to be perfectly honest, I even started another one, but I thought you might be fed up, so I will show it to you later!

En fait, je n'ai pas fait une mais deux cartes en tant que Guest Designer pour ce challenge! J'ai adoré jouer avec ces petites poupées, et je n'ai pas pu m'empêcher de faire plusieurs cartes! ET pour être vraiment honnête, j'en ai même commencé une troisième, mais je me suis dit que vous en auriez peut-être assez, alors elle sera pour plus tard!

I merged the 4 images together in MS Word, then "cropped" each image to make the lower part of their bodies disappear then inserted/drew a rectangle. It hid my image, so I right clicked to reach the "settings" of  my rectangle and put "transparency" to 100% so that the images would show. I hope what I'm saying makes sense, I find it difficult to explain in English, my MS Word being in French:-)!

For inspiration, I used something that has kept me busy recently... I have been sorting hundreds of photos, actually 10 years of photos, because we have decided it would be nice to have albums for our children... Hence my cards!!! I have been seeing photos everywhere:-)!

 Pour ces cartes, j'ai été inspirée par mon quotidien... Nous avons décidé de classer des centaines de photos, 10 ans de photos pour faire des albums, travail de titan!!! D'où mes cartes, je vois des photos partout:-)!

Same as in my first card, I merged my images in MS word, then drew rectangles and squares to use my images as photos:-)! And the sentiment is stamped.
