I had great fun colouring Nancy's Mech Seahorse, and challenged myself to try and make it look a bit metallic using pencils which was a first for me! I used plain cardstock and created a pattern with my SCACD Dandelion Knoll Statement Corner die (available from Quixotic Paperie HERE) and used 2 die cuts.

J'ai essayé de rendre un aspect métallique au crayon et pour le fond de carte, j'ai utilisé 2 découpes faites avec mon die SCACD Dandelion Knoll Statement Corner.

Tiddly love at Quixotic Paperie :)

Hello everyone! I am here to share some Tiddly Inks inspiration today... It's no secret how much I love Tiddly Inks stamps and you may have spotted a few sneak peeks announcing a big release coming on February 3rd... with new stamp sets which are of course all going to be available from Quixotic Paperie! YAY!!!

In the mean time, for my inspiration post today, I have used another Tiddly Inks clear stamp set I adore and have wanted to use for a very long time - Hello Pet!

En attendant, j'ai fait une carte avec un set Tiddly Inks que j'adore - Hello Pet!

I have kept my card extra simple as you can see - I stamped Hello Pet and coloured my image using Faber-Castell Polychromos, and the sentiment is from the set too. The set also includes a "Have a Wild Birthday" sentiment and a couple others and a few very cute accessory stamps. As a finishing touch, I added a punched border. 

Très simple comme toujours - j'ai tamponné mon image Hello Pet et je l'ai coloriée avec mes Polychromos. Le sentiment vient aussi du set, qui comprend d'autres sentiments et des petits accessoires super mignons. J'ai ensuite ajouté une bordure perforée à ma carte.

I slightly moved the Heart Border to leave a tiny white space so that it would be visible and the white heart at the top is a piece of the Arrow die cut.

Tag Challenge at Tiddly Inks!

Hello everyone! Tuesday means it is the start of a new challege at Tiddly Inks, and it is a great one - "TAGS"! I decided to have a play with pastel pencils and Polychromos to colour a kraft tag, which, of course, I have left completely CAS ;)...

Spring is here at Quixotic Paperie

Hello everyone! Spring is not here yet but I am already completely in spring mode. I have flowers and sunshine in mind and the Quixotic Paperie store is full of beautiful spring stamps, so I could not resist making a little scene combining a very fresh Some Odd Girl stamp and my favourite Make It Crafty Spring background... and combining watercolours and Copics.

Bonjour à tous! Le printemps n'est pas encore là mais je suis en mode printemps. Des fleurs, du soleil, et la boutique Quixotic Paperie qui regorge de jolis tampons printaniers... Je n'ai donc pas résisté et j'ai fait une scène avec un tampon très frais Some Odd Girl et mon fond printanier Make It Crafty préféré... et avec un peu d'aquarelle et de Copic.

I stamped Smell The Flowers Tia with Adirondack Cloudy Blue Ink on Canson Montval, masked her, then stamped my Make It Crafty Tree Of Love to create a no line scene. I did not try to render the tiniest details but kept the main elements of course, and I coloured the background with watercolours and used my Copics for the adorable Tia. I also used a little bit of white acrylic paint on the cloud.

Hair: E49, 55, 59

Dress: C0, 1, 3, V01, 04, 06, 09

J'ai tamponné mon personnage Smell The Flowers Tia avec de l'encre Adirondack Cloudy Blue, je l'ai masqué puis j'ai tamponné l'arbre Make It Crafty Tree Of Love pour créer une scène en no line. Je n'ai pas essayé de rendre les plus petits détails mais j'ai gardé les éléments principaux. J'ai colorié le fond à l'aquarelle et la petite Tia au Copic. J'ai aussi utilisé un peu de peinture acrylique blanche sur le nuage.

Love is in the air at Copic Marker Europe:)

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a Copic scene I made for Copic Marker Europe, this time with no snow in sight - spring and love are in the air! Here is the scene I made using two digis by Make It Crafty. They are all brand new - new character, Tress, whom I just love, and new pre-made scenes!!!

So I have used a pre-made scene called In The Park and only had to sit my character there - Tress Winking. I added a sentiment by CC Designs from the Adoring You stamp set and coloured everything in Copics. And for my black hair, I used my W Copics instead of my usual Cs for a change, which gives hair a more brownish tone which I like.

For my inspiration card today, I made a 100% Greeting Farm card - ALL the stamps AND dies are 25% off!

I stamped Garden Anya onto Make It Colour Blending Card and cut her out. The tulip border is a Greeting farm die that I cut in Make It Colour Blending Card too to be able to colour it well with my Copics. The sentiment is from the Greeting Farm Delicate Words die set, coloured with a brown Copic. 

J'ai tamponné Garden Anya sur papier Make It Colour Blending Card et je l'ai découpée. La bordure de tulipes est une découpe Greeting farm die que j'ai utilisée avec du papier Make It Colour Blending Card pour pouvoir ensuite la colorier au Copic. Le sentiment vient du set Greeting Farm Delicate Words, colorié lui aussi au Copic.

I merged Chrissie with Winter Town and added the Large Pine Tree several times to fill the scene a little. I printed it on Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured it with Copics, then added a CC Designs sentiment. And I put my little scene in a frame as a little gift ;)

J'ai combiné Chrissie avec Winter Town et ajouté le sapin Large Pine Tree plusieurs fois pour remplir la scène. J'ai imprimé sur papier Make It Colour Blending Card et tout colorié au Copic, puis j'ai ajuté un sentiment CC Designs. Et j'ai mis ma scène dans un petit cadre pour faire cadeau;)
