I printed my puppy stack twice, once for the base of the card with the sentiment, and one to colour with my Copics and cut out. I airbrushed the card base then added my coloured puppy stack to it.

Hello everyone! SCACD celebrates today a newly released exclusive rubber stamps set Eclectic Sea (9 rubber stamps all together)! The Eclectic Sea is a twist of sorts in how something land bound might be seen in the ocean; for example a Sunflower that is now a Coral Sea Flower and vice versa. SCACD This & That Rubber Stamp Blog Hop!!!

Oh the choice has been once again very difficult! I fell in love with this release, there are so many possibilities! I finally decided to have some colouring fun with a beautiful lady I could not resist, with lots of details... Alice!

A Sylvia Zet for Quixotic Paperie :)

Hello everyone! I'm back with a little card I made with my Quixotic Paperie goodies :) Did you know there are some adorable SCACD stamps by Sylvia Zet in the store? And they are hard to resist!!! I have chosen Loli & Shellie for my post today :)

Bonsoir à tous! Me revoilà avec ma carte pour Quixotic Paperie :) Saviez-vous qu'il y a des tampons SCACD de Sylvia Zet tous plus mignons les uns que les autres? J'ai choisi d'utiliser Loli & Shellie aujourd'hui :) 

I stamped Loli & Shellie on a piece of kraft and coloured them using my Polychromos. Please note, this stamp is available as a single stamp, or as part of the collection set Adventures of Loli & Friends. I added a little butterfly, from the Some Odd Girl Flutter By Fairy set and a Make It Crafty Mini Dragonfly Chipboard - both are coloured in Polychromos too. The sentiment is from the Tiddly Inks Chloe and Her Friends set.

J'ai tamponné Loli & Shellie sur du kraft et j'ai colorié mon image avec mes Polychromos. Loli & Shellie est disponible en tampon tout seul ou dans le set de 4 Adventures of Loli & Friends. J'ai ajouté un petit papillon du set Some Odd Girl Flutter By Fairy et un Chipboard Libellule Make It Crafty Mini Dragonfly - tous les 2 sont coloriés au Polychromos aussi. Fire at Quixotic Paperie ;)

For my make today, I chose one of the new SCACD stamps from the Elements Collection (20% off too!) which I love so much and decided to try a different look. 

Pour ma carte aujourd'hui, j'ai choisi l'un des nouveaux tampons SCACD de la Collection Elements - elle aussi à -20% - que j'aime tant et j'ai voulu essayer quelque chose d'un peu différent. 

This gorgeous stamp is Fire and I stamped her with white ink on black paper. I coloured my image using Polychromos, leaving most of the white lines visible because that was the idea - there are only a few lines on the face and eyes that I covered. 

Ce tampon s'appelle Fire et je l'ai tamponné à l'encre blanche sur papier Canson noir. J'ai colorié mon image aux Polychromos, en gardant la plupart des lignes blanches - il y a juste quelques lignes sur le visage et les yeux que j'ai couvertes. 

Fire is available as a single rubber stamp or as part of the Elements collection with includes 4 stamps and their accessories. Below are 2 examples of other cards I shared recently using Water...

Mixed MediaING;) with SCACD

Hello everyone! Happy Sunday and Happy Easter! I have been playing with the new SCACD Elements Collection, a collection of four stamps I am in love with! They come as a collection of four, but Water, Fire, Wind and Earth can be bought individually too. They can simply be coloured and used on cards and are also great to play and be a bit "artistic" if you fancy too! I have wanted to try new things for some time and have been very inspired by Elaine's amazing art, and the gorgeous SCACD Water seemed like the perfect stamp for what I had in mind.

Bonjour à tous! Je me suis amusée avec les tampons SCACD Elements disponibles chez Quixotic Paperie, une collection de 4 tampons que j'adore! Ils peuvent être achetés comme set de 4, mais Water, Fire, Wind et Earth sont aussi disponibles individuellement. J'ai voulu essayer quelque chose de nouveau et je me suis inspirée d'Elaine et de ses créations toutes plus belles les unes que les autres. Voici ce que j'ai fait avec le tampon SCACD Water.

I stamped SCACD Water in Versafine Majestic Blue Ink onto watercolour paper and started by watercolouring the background. Then I coloured my whole image using Faber-Castell Polychromos and added a bit of Pitt pen around my image. Next I tried to add some texture to my background, so I stamped text in Versafine Majestic Blue Ink, then dots in Colorbox White Ink, and then various circles in blue, white, and using a gold Pitt pen. At last, I wrote "believe" and "dream" and added gold with my Pitt pen on the borders of my card. 

J'ai tamponné SCACD Water à l'encre Versafine Majestic Blue sur du papier Aquarelle (Montval) et j'ai d'abord fait le fond à l'aquarelle. Ensuite, j'ai colorié mon image avec mes Polychromos et j'ai ajouté un peu de feutre Pitt près des contours. Puis, j'ai tamponné du texte en bleu, des points à l'encre blanche Colorbox et des cercles en bleu, blanc et au feutre Pitt doré. J'ai écrit "believe" et "dream" puis j'ai ajouté du doré sur les bords de ma carte au feutre Pitt encore.

Onto my little card now... I have had the pleasure of playing with the gorgeous EARTH... and oh am I in love with this new collection!

Ma petite carte... J'ai eu le plaisir de jouer avec EARTH... très différente de ce que je colorie d'habitue, mais j'adore cette nouvelle collection! 

Quite CAS as always... but what a joy to colour this stamp in Copics - I had so much fun!!! I mostly used green and purple which I love together. 

Très simple comme toujours... mais vraiment quel plaisir de colorier ce tampon au Copic!!! J'ai utilisé du vert et violet en majorité, une combinaison qui me plaît bien.

I had great fun colouring Nancy's Mech Seahorse, and challenged myself to try and make it look a bit metallic using pencils which was a first for me! I used plain cardstock and created a pattern with my SCACD Dandelion Knoll Statement Corner die (available from Quixotic Paperie HERE) and used 2 die cuts.

J'ai essayé de rendre un aspect métallique au crayon et pour le fond de carte, j'ai utilisé 2 découpes faites avec mon die SCACD Dandelion Knoll Statement Corner.

My second project is really special to me... because it is a first ;) I have dared try something new... It features a gorgeous image called Caged Heart (also still available in rubber both at SCACD and in the UK at Quixotic Paperie) whom I fell in love with - here it is...

I felt this gorgeous lady came straight out from a painting, so I decided to create the painting around her. I have bought some "REAL" watercolour lately (I mean not my beloved pencils or markers which I still love) and I have wanted to try and PAINT backgrounds for some time. And when I saw "Caged Heart", it seemed obvious now was the time to do what I had in mind and test the new watercolours! Because I can't draw AT ALL, I have been a bit scared to try but I'm happy I did in the end! So the background is watercolour and my lady is coloured in Copics :)

Key To My Heart at Quixotic Paperie

Hello everyone! Happy Sunday:)! I'm back today to share a card I made with one of my new stamps from Quixotic Paperie, one of the new SCACD stamps by Elisabeth Bell from the Fairy Dust Collection - Key To My Heart!

Bonjour à tous! Me voilà de retour pour vous montrer une carte que j'ai faite avec un de mes nouveaux tampons de Quixotic Paperie, un tampon SCACD d'Elisabeth Bell de la collection Fairy Dust - Key To My Heart!

I stamped Key To My Heart on Make It Colour Blending Card using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloured my image with Copics, then cut out my fairy, put her on 3D foam squares and added Stickles to her wings. The heart chipboard comes from the Make It Crafty Love Heart Swirls set and I added gold stickles to it. Here is a close up:)

J'ai tamponné mom image Key To My Heart sur du papier Make It Colour avec de l'encre Memento, je l'ai coloriée aux Copic, puis découpée, collée sur mousse 3D et j'ai ajouté du vernis pailleté à ses ailes. Le coeur est un chipboard Make It Crafty du set Love Heart Swirls auquel j'ai ajouté du vernis pailleté or. Papiers BoBunny, ruban Toga, sentiment digital CC Designs et perle:)
