NO MIRACLES, BUT SOME HELP WITH BLOGGER FOR YOU:-)

Hello all! I have been very upset because yesterday I was not able to leave comments to any of you and have had the same problem today. I still could not leave comments tonight, except I may have just found a solution 2 minutes ago, after reading many posts in "blogger help"! I happen to have both Firefox and Internet Explorer (IE8 I think, not the latest version) on my laptop and it seems I can leave comments using FIREFOX, but cannot using Internet Explorer (Blogger keeps asking me to log in). It does not explain the problem but I thought I would share, maybe it will help you... I will catch up with you as soon as I can:-)!

Mais en fait, je viens de trouver une vague solution il y a 2 minutes, après avoir lu des infos dans le centre d'aide... J'ai Internet Explorer et Firefox (que je n'utilise jamais) sur mon portable, et seul Internet Explorer ne marche pas, Firefox marche sans problèmes pour moi! Je ne sais pas si cela vous aidera, mais vu qu'il m'a fallu 48h avant de penser à Firefox, je vous fais passer l'info! Gros bisous,

I was really excited at using kraft for my image because I have wanted to colour on kraft for a very long time! Here is my card, using a Karen's Doodles image... Cela faisait un bon moment que je voulais essayer d'utiliser du kraft pour mon image, j'ai enfin eu l'occasion! Voici ma carte avec une image de Karen's Doodles...

I had actually started to use different colours for my image but having nothing nice for the white, I did not want to leave my snowman and snow uncoloured so, change of plans, I thought I would try a sepia/old look. Here is the close up...

J'étais partie pour colorier mon image avec différentes couleurs, mais je n'avais rien de bien pour faire du blanc et je ne voulais pas laisser la neige et le bonhomme sans les colorier, j'ai donc décidé de faire un look sepia/ à l'ancienne... Gros plan et ingrédients...

ColorBox Ink (white frost), card candy, DMC floss for the stitching

Since I could not find matching papers, I used my snowflakes stamp with white ink to brighten the card a little and embossed with my heat gun. I coloured white card candy with my W5 Copic for a perfect match and coloured my white DMC 6-strand floss with W5 to have a matching stitching!

Evidemment, pas de papiers qui convenaient, j'ai donc utilisé mon tampon neige avec de l'encre blanche pour éclaircir un peu la carte. J'ai colorié mes embellissements avec mon Copic W5, à savoir card candy et fil blanc DMC transformé grâce à quelques coups de Copic! Ensuite un peu de couture à la main comme d'habitude!

Just because I used to read a lot, I don't read... as much today, because I make cards late at night... I guess I am not the only one! Here is my card and I am very proud of myself because for once I chose my papers before starting colouring:-)! And I have to admit it is easier that way, but when I need or want to colour, I forget about papers! Voici ma carte et je suis très fière car pour une fois j'ai choisi les papiers avant de colorier! Here is my garden:-)...

It is my very first side step card. I saw several with those stamps when they were released last year and I saw a gorgeous card the other day on my friend Squirrel's blog with different images, so I thought I would give it a try now that I have a Scorpal (it has been 4 months and I had not used it yet:-(...) I used the same great  Splitcoaststampers tutorial she mentioned, only changed the measurement, my cardstock being 6 1/2" x 8 1/2".

C'est ma toute première carte de ce type, j'en ai vu plusieurs l'an dernier à la sortie de ces tampons et une l'autre jour avec des images différentes sur le blog de mon amie Squirrel, et j'ai enfin franchi le pas, il était grand temps d'utiliser ma Scorpal toute neuve... J'ai utilisé le même tutoriel de Splitcoaststampers que Squirrel a mentionné, j'ai juste modifié les dimensions.

I have two cards to show you, the first one is quite unusual for me, since there is no colouring, but I thought I would try something different!

J'ai deux cartes à vous montrer, la première est assez inhabituelle, pas de coloriage! J'ai voulu essayer autre chose:-)!

CARD #1

I used Brenda's CS for my card, the tree stamp is Artemio, the snowflakes come from a set by Inkadinkado, and I added a LOTV sentiment. The background for the tree is white CS covered with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.

I would like to enter card #1 into the challenges at Pollycraft (#91) and Papertake Weekly where the theme is Anything Goes.

Très simple, un arbre Artemio, des flocons de chez Inkadinkado embossés en ivoire et texte LOTV. Le fond bleu de l'arbre est du papier blanc coloré à la Distress. Je participe aux challenges de Pollycraft et Papertake Weekly, où tout convient.
