Hello everyone! I'm back with our new challenge at Tiddly Inks and this time it's UNDER THE SEA! You can see lots of inspiration on our challenge blog HERE :)

J'ai décidé de créer une page sur le thème marin - avec des sirènes - dans mon journal, ça faisait longtemps - et ça fait beaucoup de bien!! J'ai utilisé des tampons du set Mini Mermaid Fun, disponibles aussi en digis sous les noms Amy and Her Mini Mermaid Friends et Octopi My Heart :)

I decided to create an art journal page, it has been a long time and it felt soooo good to dive into my journal! I used stamps from the Mini Mermaid Fun stamp set, also available as digis in Amy and Her Mini Mermaid Friends and Octopi My Heart :)

Colouring: Copics on Make it Colour Blending Card and acrylic paint, gel pen on Moleskine journal

J'ai créé le fond avec de l'acrylique principalement - Fresco et Distress Paint - et fait le sable avec du papier imprimé collé et recouvert d'acrylique aussi. J'ai ajouté un rocher au marqueur acrylique et des algues au stylo gel Pentel. J'ai tamponné, découpé et colorié tous mes personnages au Copic avec quelques touches de crayon Polychromos et je les ai ajoutés à ma scène. 

I created the background in acrylics mostly - Fresco Paint and Distress Paint - and I used DPs for the sand which I covered in acrylics too. I added a rock using acrylic markers and weeds using Pentel gel pens. I stamped, fussy cut and coloured all my elements in Copics with a few touches of Polychromos and I added them to my scene.

Tiddly Inks Challenge #220

I coloured most of my background first then coloured my character, all in Copics. As a finishing touch, I added a few snowflakes in white acrylic paint pen and the sentiment, from the Christmas Wishes Stamp Set.

Oh Copic Various Inks!

Hello everyone! During the Instructors' Meeting in Germany, we were lucky to have a workshop with Kathrin Bartholomäus who makes beautiful fluid art and we got to play with our Copic Refills. I love the effects you can get, so I decided to play a bit for my Copic Marker Europe post:)

The basic supplies for that are Yupo paper, Alcohol (I used 95% Alcohol) and Copic Various Ink Refills.

I cut my Yupo into 4 pieces of paper (about the size of an ATC) and randomly added Inks and alcohol to my paper.

Blue card: B37, 69, BG05

Aqua card: B37, BG05, 09

Purple card: RV02, V09

Red card: R20, 37, YR04 (and Q tips to remove some colour)

I then coloured a cute little dog by Tiddly Inks (Holly Jolly Christmas) in Copics, three times for my cards. 

Dog: C0, 1, 3

Hat: C7, R35, 37, 39, W0, 1, 3

The holly was done in gel pen.

I decided to use 2 of my Yupo cards without touching the backgrounds - I simply put my dog on foam squares, added Make it Crafty Chipboard coloured in acrylic paint and added a bit of gold on the edges of my first card and white for the second card with an acrylic marker.

For my purple card, I thought I would make a simple scene. I used white acrylic paint for the snow at the bottom (the white can be a bit tinted by the ink underneath but I don't think it is a problem). For the trees, I used a black Pitt pen. I added a few snowflakes in acrylic paint and a bit of white on the edges of the card for a frosty look.

For the red card, I added gold acrylic paint on the edges of the card and a few gold dots and chose to only add a big Make it Crafty Merry Christmas Outline Sentiment Chipboard painted in acrylic too.

Hello everyone! It's the start of a new challenge at Tiddly Inks and our them this time is DIVINE DIMENSION! So think images on 3D foam, moving parts, shadow boxes, etc...!

For my card, I decided to make a Christmas card using Wryn Santa Girl :)

My Shooting Stars Rectangle Frame was coloured using the chisel nib of my C9 Copic marker. The gold is acrylic paint and the red is gel pen. Same thing for the Christmas Word :)

Beagle Baby Looooooove

Hello everyone! I'm sharing a very special card today, inspired by real life! People who know me a little know how much I love my baby beagles and I am extremely lucky to have had an image made by the fabulous Christy at Tiddly Inks, based on my second baby beagle who arrived home last month :) I can't tell you how blessed I feel!! Huge thanks again to you Christy!! 

So this is the image I'm using today - my Baby Beagle by Tiddly Inks!

I printed my image and die cut it with an MFT circle die, to then focus on the colouring.

I coloured the sky first, using B00 and B02. I added a cloud in BV20, C0 and C1 to avoid having a completely flat sky.

I then coloured my beagle with E30, 31, 34, 44 and 47 for the browns. I added shadows to the white colouring them in W00 first to see where I would place them and then W0, 1, 3.

Next I coloured the grass with my usual combo of G28, YG01, 03, 17 and 67.

So all the Copics I used are:

Sky: B00, 02

Grass: G28, YG01, 03, 17, 67

Beagle Puppy: E30, 31, 34, 44, 47, W00, 0, 1, 3

Now to add more depth, I added a few details to my image: birds in the sky with a Copic Multiliner, a bit of blue Distress Ink aroung the edges of my scene and I used Posca and gel pens to add blades of grass and dots for flowers.

I then mounted my image on another MFT die cut and on a piece of BoBunny DP. The sentiment was done using Make it Crafty Alpha Chipboard painted in white acrylic.
