Cupcake DT, challenges, panic LOL:-)

Hello all! I hope you had a nice sunny weekend? It was very hot in Paris! And I just did not have time to enjoy the sun... I have this sort of panic feeling, just because me and my little family are supposed to leave on Saturday morning for 2 1/2 weeks, and I am going to work late every day of the week and I have a million things to do, so I am just wondering how I will manage... I guess I will, eventually, one way or the other! 

Anyway, today is Cupcake day! We have another great challenge for you, chosen by our lovely Louise this time, and it is "Cooking up a Storm", so anything cooking related! Bonjour à toutes! J'espère que vous avez passé un bon week-end? Pas beaucoup le temps de profiter du soleil pour moi, je panique un peu... Je pars en vacances samedi pour 2 semaines 1/2 avec toute ma petite famille et je me demande bien comment je vais tout gérer... J'y arrive toujours, me direz-vous, certes mais je panique quand même! 

Assez bavardé, c'est l'heure du nouveau challenge de Cupcake et cette semaine Louise souhaiterait vos projets en rapport avec "la cuisine" (gâteaux, chefs, etc...). Gems from stash

For the background I used DI Spun Sugar first, then Milled Lavender to get the shade I wanted. The swirls are from the Spellbinders set called Elegant Posts, I used several from the set and cut some pieces to get the designs I wanted. My image has been stamped twice and I used 3D foam for more dimension. And I used the fab sketch from the Sugar Bowl (see below for challenges):-)

Pour le fond, j'ai donc utilisé un mélange d'encres Distress, les swirls viennent du set Spellbinders Elegant Posts, j'en ai utilisé plusieurs, que j'ai coupés pour obtenir un motif qui me convenait, et mon image est montée sur mousse 3D (toujours une empreinte pour le fond, une pour le coloriage). Et j'ai utilisé le super sketch du Sugar Bowl pour ma carte (voir challenges ci-dessous).

GDT card for 7 KIDS COLLEGE FUND challenge 24:-)

Hello again! I told you I would be back:-)! Two weeks ago I made the Top 3 at 7 Kids College Fund and was invited to make a GDT card for today's challenge... That is such is a great honour for me, thank you so much ladies:-)! The challenge this fortnight is... "It's so FLUFFY! Use felt, suede, Flower Soft, etc..." and as always there is a fantastic prize given by 7 Kids College Fund, a $20 gift certificate!

For the flower, I cut 2 petals from a big purple flower for the base to make it look like a heart (not sure you can see it very well), then I cut petals from pink and fuschia flowers and added my button.

My Gorjuss Girl has been stamped twice, one for the background coloured very quickly, and one cut out and put on 3D foam. Before adding my Gorjuss Girl, I added the ground, then masked it and coloured the background with Distress Ink to use another kind of blue. Comme je fais parfois, j'ai tamponné 2 Gorjuss Girls, une pour le fond coloriée rapidement et une que j'ai découpée et placée sur mousse 3D. J'ai ajouté un sol que j'ai masqué pour pouvoir colorier le ciel à la Distress.

HELP NEEDED... I am upset...:-(

Good evening! I hope you are well? I am, but just upset with technology, again... I am tired of having blurry photos on my blog (if you click on the images, you will see the pictures are clearer than if you don't click on them), and if I upload them to their original size then the photo is very clear but of course I can't see the whole picture because my column is too small! I have read that when uploading the photos blogger sort of resizes them which explains the blur, but I have not found how to solve the problem. So if you have any advice on how to have clear pictures on your blog, I would really appreciate... Thank you very much for your ideas! Have a lovely evening

 As you can see, I am still practising for my clouds, which also helps me save my DPs:-). I used blue CS and white CS coloured with Copic W5 for matting. I stamped my image twice, one for the background, quickly coloured, the other not so quickly coloured then cut out and put on foam for extra dimension.

Comme vous le voyez, je continue à m'entraîner à faire des nuages, ce qui me fait par ailleurs économiser mes papiers:-). Le papier gris est du bristol blanc, colorié avec mon Copic W5, pour avoir les mêmes tons que l'oiseau, et j'ai tamponné mon image deux fois, l'une pour le fond coloriée très rapidement et l'autre coloriée moins rapidement:-), puis découpée et collée avec de la mousse 3D sur le fond.
