Spooky Sunday with the Monstaz!

Bonjour à tous! Me voici de retour avec ma dernière carte en tant que Guest chez Quixotic Paperie, et c'est aussi le dernier jour de notre semaine Halloween! Avez-vous tous tenté votre chance pour essayer de gagner l'un des nombreux lots offerts? Si non, c'est ICI que cela se passe, mais dépêchez-vous, ça finit ce soir!

For my spooky card, I used my favourite Halloween stamps and a few chipboard elements from Make It Crafty...

Pour ma carte, j'ai utilisé mes tampons Halloween préférés de chez Make It Crafty et quelques chipboards...

I stamped the Slimy House with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Make It Colour Blending card and coloured with Copics. On another piece of blending card, I stamped and cut out my 2 characters, Dracula from the Mini MonstaBoyz set and Morticia from the Mini MonstaGalz set. Both sets include three spooky/ cute characters each. The bats, cobweb corner and little pumpkin come from the Spooky Halloween Chipboard set and I have added a Make It Crafty flourish too.

J'ai tamponné la maison Slimy House sur du papier Make It Colour avec de l'encre Memento Tuxedo Black et colorié avec mes Copics. J'ai tamponné mes 2 personnages à part, Dracula du set Mini MonstaBoyz et Morticia du set Mini MonstaGalz. Chaque set comprend 3 petits personnages. Les chauve-souris, le coin et la petite citrouille font partie du set de Chipboard Spooky Halloween.

Hello all and Happy Sunday! I'm here to share my latest GDT card for Quixotic Paperie with a cutie I have been dying to colour for some time, Mae, one of the beautiful  Some Odd Girls characters!

 

I have stamped Mae with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured her with Copics. The words, faux stitching border and pennant stamp are from the set and the die I used is MFT Die-Namics Simply Scallop Large die. The DPs are by Echo Park, from the So Happy Together 6x6 pad and Happy Days pad, and I have added a Make It Crafty Swirly Corner, coloured with a black Copic.

Little Rabbit

 Hello all! I hope you are well? Today I'm showing you my second GDT card for Quixotic Paperie, featuring another Gorjuss Girl... I just had to, I love them too much!!! 

Bonjour à tous! Me revoilà avec une nouvelle carte en tant que Guest pour Quixotic Paperie, et je n'ai pas résisté, j'ai fait une autre Gorjuss, je les aime trop:-)!!!

This Gorjuss stamp is called I Love You Little Rabbit and I have used the example from the packaging for inspiration, keeping the same colour scheme, the stripes and corners. You can see it HERE! I stamped my image on Make It Colour Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink as always and coloured it with my Copics. I have kept my card very simple, only 2 pearls and my favourite chipboards for an elegant touch, Make It Crafty Swirly Corners and that's it!

J'ai utilisé le tampon I Love You Little Rabbit et je me suis basée sur l'image donnée en exemple en restant dans les mêmes tons et en gardant les rayures et les coins! Vous pouvez voir ce dont je parle ICI! Mon image est tamponnée sur papier Make It Colour et coloriée aux Copics et je suis restée simple (forcément!!!), 2 petites perles et 2 coins que j'adore, les Swirly Corners Make It Crafty!

Halloween Shadow Box

Hello all! Today I would like to share my very first shadow box, a Halloween Shadow box!

First I made my background, my first airbrushed background (I showed you the second one not long ago:-)...

Moon: Y06 

Sky: B95, 99, BV23, 29 

Hills: BG93, 96, 99, YG13, 95, 97

I coloured all the pieces of my shadow box (available HERE for Europe) with my black Copic and before putting them together, I checked my background was the right size and I used the square frame piece as a template to cut my DP to the right size too.

I coloured the adorable Witchy Wanda (HERE for Europe) on Make It Colour Blending Card (HERE) with my Copics and cut her out.

Skin: E0000, 000, 00, 11 

Hair: E19, YR04, 18 

Outfit: V000, 01, 04, 05, 06, 09 / C0, 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 

Broom: E35, 37, 44, 47, 49, Y35, YR24

All the embellishments I used are part of the Spooky Halloween Chipboard Set (HERE for Europe), the house, the bats, the fence, the corners, and the pumpkins... and there are even more in the set! As you'll notice, I wanted to have lights at the windows of my house, so I coloured a piece of paper with my Copic Y17, and pasted it behind the house before adding it to the shadow box.

Gorjuss Love for Quixotic Paperie!

 Hello all! Well, I am a bit nervous today but super excited, since today is my first GDT post for a store I absolutely love, Quixotic Paperie! I am over the moon to have been invited by Elaine, who I admire so much, more than I could tell!!!! Thank you so so much again for having me, Elaine:-)! 

For my first card, I have decided to combine stamps I love:-)...

The Gorjuss Girl I have used is called Poppy Wood and I thought it would be nice to have a tree behind her, so I added the Tree of Love by Make It Crafty. Both images have been coloured with Copics on Make It Colour Blending Card, as you know the best and only paper I use with my markers.

No sentiment, just the heart on the tree and the heart button, supposed to say it all.

Something different... Airbrushing for Halloween!

Hello all! Have you seen the new challenge at Copic Marker Europe? It is "Halloween" and so I thought I would share some Halloween inspiration! I have tried something different which I have wanted to try for a long time - airbrushing! I am a complete beginner, this is my second airbrushed background (my first attempt will be posted soon here), but I can already say I love airbrushing, it is such fun! Here is my card...

Bonjour à tous! Avez-vous vu le nouveau challenge chez Copic Marker Europe? C'est "Halloween"! J'ai voulu essayer quelque chose de différent, mon airbrush/aérographe...Je suis complètement débutante, c'est mon 2e essai (le 1er sera bientôt publié ici), mais j'adore! Voici ma carte...

I have used Devilish Lucy by CC Designs. I stamped her, masked her then made a mask for my background using a Spellbinders circle and a piece of paper. I airbrushed the background, first the sun, then the sky and ground with lots of different colours, before colouring Lucy. I added a few bats made with my CC Cutter Bats Die and made strips with my Martha Stewart punch to frame my image. Here is a close up and the list of all the Copics I used:

J'ai utilisé Devilish Lucy de CC Designs. J'ai tamponné mon image, je l'ai masquée, puis j'ai fabriqué un masque pour mon fond avec un cercle Spellbinders et un bout de papier. J'ai fait mon fond à l'airbrush, d'abord le soleil, puis le ciel et le sol avec beaucoup de couleurs, et ensuite j'ai colorié Lucy. J'ai ajouté quelques chauve-souris faites avec ma découpe CC Cutter Bats Die. Pour le cadre, j'ai utilisé des bordures faites avec ma perforatrice Martha Stewart. Gros plan et copics utilisés...

Hello all! We are still in the middle of the September Previews at All That Scraps and today the DT are showcasing the new Sweet November stamps, adorable little ghosts, The Lil Boos... I couldn't make up my mind, so I used the three of them! Here is my card...

So we have Lil Boo's Pumpkin, Lil Boo's Batty Banner, Lil Boo and Scary Larry! I stamped them on Make It Colour Blending Card as always and coloured them with Copics. I made the banner using the new CC Cutters Mini Banners and used Fancy Pants and Echo Park DPs.

September Release Previews at All That Scraps!

Hello all! Can you believe September is here? Well I can... It is back to school for all of us this week, parents and children, and with visitors at home, and I clearly need a little time to find my routine, and stop being super stressed and breathe! LOL!!! Anyway, with September and school comes a fantastic new release at All That Scraps!!! Today we are previewing adorable images by Christine... Here is my little card...

My cutie is part of a set of 2 characters called Cow and Pig, I have used Cow, and the sentiment is from the Down On The Farm Sayings. I coloured with Copics on Make It Colour Blending Card and used a Rayher DP which seemed meant for this image. The button and ribbon are from my stash.

Without Words Challenge #1!!!!

Hello all! Exciting day in our corner of blogland today, it is the very first challenge of Without Words! YAY! Thank you to those who have decided to follow us:-)! We are very happy to bring you challenges every month where the idea is to make CAS cards, focussing on images coloured by yourselves! Our first theme is "Autumn, a season of mellow fruitfulness and rich, warm colours"! 

Bonjour à tous! Une journée un peu spéciale aujourd'hui, c'est le premier challenge de Without Words! Youpi! Merci à celles et ceux qui ont déjà décidé de nous suivre! Les challenges sont mensuels et l'idée est de faire des cartes simples qui mettent l'accent sur l'image coloriée par vos soins! Le thème pour septembre est "l'Automne"!
