Winter at Quixotic Paperie

Hello everyone! It is Sunday, so time for my Quixotic Inspirations post! Bonjour à tous! Aujourd'hui dimanche, je vous propose une carte réalisée avec des nouveautés de Quixotic Paperie. Mais avant ça, un rappel, vous pouvez faire le blog hop SCACD, essayer de gagner quelques prix délicieux et surtout voir la carte hallucinante d'Elaine ICI!

As for my little card - well, when I saw all the new Make It Crafty Winter Backgrounds available at Quixotic Paperie, I just had to make and colour a scene!

Quant à ma carte, et bien j'ai vu les nouveaux tampons Make It Crafty Winter Backgrounds pour faire plein de jolies scènes hivernales et je n'ai pas résisté...

My scene is coloured with Copics on Make It Colour Blending Card as always, and combines 4 Make It Crafty stamps: my cute little elf is Rocky from the Christmas Elf Collection, and for the background I used Little Village, Winter Fence and Pine Trees. All these backgrounds stamps are available individually or as a collection.

I also added an elegant snowflake chipboard, coloured with a dark Copic, covered in Stickles and decorated with a pearl.

Scène coloriée au Copic sur du papier Make It Colour Blending Card comme toujours, qui combine 4 tampons Make It Crafty: le petit elf, Rocky, vient du set Christmas Elf Collection, et pour le décor j'ai utilisé Little Village, Winter Fence et Pine Trees. Tous ces tampons de fond sont disponibles seuls ou en set (collection). J'ai aussi ajouté un chipboard flocon snowflake chipboard, colorié au Copic, recouvert de paillettes et décoré d'une perle.

Christmas Magic coming at Make It Crafty!

 

Hello all! Today I am giving you a little sneak peek of what's coming at Make It Crafty, I can tell you Christmas magic is in the air and you are going to LOOOOVE it! There are some gorgeous, super cute fairies about to be released and because I'm nice:-), I'll show you one - meet FAIRY STAR... oh and a beautiful Christmas Tree, coming very soon too! 

Bonjour à tous! Aujourd'hui je vais vous donner un petit aperçu de ce qui vous attend chez Make It Crafty... Il y a de la magie de Noël dans l'air!!! A venir, plein de petites fées plus jolies les unes que les autres, et parce que je suis gentille:-), je vais vous en montrer une FAIRY STAR... et aussi un superbe Sapin de Noël, très bientôt disponible aussi! 

Adorable, isn't she? I have merged my scene in Word, printed it on Make It Colour Blending card and coloured it with Copics. In the corner, I added some Mini Christmas Lights which come from the Christmas Mini Decorations Chipboard set, a fantastic set with over 80 elements! I coloured them with Copics, and put a thread in the tiny holes to make a garland. I then added lots of Stardust Stickles to the Lights, to all the stars and to my Fairy's wings. Here is a close up on the image and the list of Copics I have used... 

Craquante, non? J'ai fait ma scène dans Word, je l'ai imprimée sur du papier Make It Colour Blending card et coloriée au Copic. Dans le coin quelques ampoules qui viennent du super set de décorations  Christmas Mini Decorations, qui regroupe plus de 80 décorations! Je les ai coloriées au Copic et ai fait passer un fil dans les petits trous pour recréer une guirlande. Enfin, j'ai ajouté du vernis pailleté à toutes les ampoules, les étoiles et les ailes de ma fée...

Eyes and Roses for Quixotic Paperie

Hello all! I am back with the card I made for Quixotic Paperie, more inspiration from the new Susana Loves Stamps Eyes Collection, Bon Jour Eyes - I just cannot resist those gorgeous Eyes!!! I thought I could make a simple scene using one of the fantastic Make It Crafty background stamps and here is the result...

Bonjour à toutes! Me voici avec la carte que j'ai faite pour Quixotic Paperie, avec un tampon SCACD de la collection Susana Loves Stamps Eyes Collection! J'ai utilisé Bon Jour Eyes combiné à un tampon Make It Crafty pour faire une petite scène...

The rose on my lady's hat reminded me of that Make It Crafty background and I just had to use them together. I stamped Bon Jour Eyes and Rose Garden on Make It Colour Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloured both with my Copics. I cut out my lady and put her on foam squares for a bit of dimension. I kept my layout very simple as always and only added a Make It Crafty Swirly Corner and a tiny rose.

La rose au chapeau de mon personnage m'a tout de suite fait pensé à ce tampon Make It Crafty et la combinaison des 2 m'a semblé incontournable! J'ai tamponné Bon Jour Eyes et Rose Garden sur du papier Make It Colour Blending Card avec de l'encre Memento Tuxedo Black et colorié au Copic. J'ai découpé ma dame et l'ai placée sur des carrés de mousse pour un peu de relief. Disposition très simple comme toujours, juste un coin Make It Crafty Swirly Corner et une petite rose.

Fun Airbrushed Nativity Scene for Copic Europe

Hello all! Today, I have a fun nativity scene to share, which I made for Copic Marker Europe! It is 100% Copics as I like doing, no DPs, but a bit of airbrushing:-)! Here is my card...

Bonjour à tous! Aujourd'hui je vous propose un peu d'airbrush avec une carte de Noël que j'ai faite pour Copic Marker Europe, 100% Copics!

The fun characters and sentiment all come from a set by CC Designs called Meoples Nativity. First, I stamped all my characters on Make It Colour Blending Card, (available here from Make It Crafty or here from Quixotic Paperie for Europe), then I masked them and airbrushed the background. I coloured my Meoples, stamped the sentiment and added two Make It Crafty Delicate Corners for a nice finishing touch.

J'ai tamponné tous mes personnages sur du papier Make It Colour (disponible ICI chez ou ICI chez Quixotic Paperie pour l'Europe), je les ai masqués et ai fait mon fond à l'airbrush. For my scene, I needed a longer roof, so I stamped the Snowy Roof three times, on the left, on the right, and for the snow "cloud" in the middle, (cut out, to cover the junction). I airbrushed the sky (yes, I am a bit addicted...) and then added my coloured Santa.

Pour ma scène, j'avais besoin d'un toit un peu plus long, je ai tamponné Snowy Roof 3 fois en fait... Une fois à gauche, une fois à droite et une 3e fois pour faire un "nuage" de neige et recrouvrir la jonction des 2 bouts de toit. Le ciel a été fait à l'airbrush (oui, je suis accro:-)) puis j'ai ajouté mon Père Noël colorié.

Oceanic Eyes and a bit of airbrushing

Good morning everyone! It is Sunday, my day to post on the Quixotic Inspirations blog:-) and today I am showing you a card I made featuring a gorgeous mermaid from the Susana Loves Stamps "Eyes" collection, available from Quixotic Paperie - meet Oceanic Eyes...

I love this mermaid, I find her completely mesmerising! To make my scene, I used Oceanic Eyes and one of the new Make It Crafty rubber stamps, Sandy Seafloor, which I stamped on Make It Colour Blending Card using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I masked my mermaid and the seafloor and airbrushed the sea. Then I coloured the whole scene using Copics and added two Make It Crafty Swirly Corners, coloured with a brown Copic too.

Tilda in a little scene for Sweet Stamping Pixies

Hello all! I hope you are well and enjoyed your weekend? Mine really did me good and I do feel better, and more ready to face the week! It is time for a new challenge at the Sweet Stamping Pixies and the theme this week is "Fall". Important information: you do NOT need to use a fairy image, you can use Magnolias, Hanglar etc without wings, as you will see on my card today! Joy... Quixotic Paperie DT:-)

Hello all! Yes, Joy!!! Well because I am very excited and honoured to be back with my first DT post for Quixotic Paperie today:-)!!!! Thank you so much Elaine for having me!!! So I thought I would share a card featuring Joy, from a brand I love, Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! Joy is one of the fantastic Holiday Girls, you can see them all HERE!

Bonjour à tous! Oui, il y a de la joie dans ce message, puisque voici ma première carte en tant que membre de la DT de Quixotic Paperie! Un grand merci encore à Elaine:-)!! Pour refléter mon état d'esprit, j'ai décidé d'utiliser Joy, un tampon Kraftin' Kimmie de la toute nouvelle gamme des Holiday Girls!

I stamped Joy on Make It Colour Blending Card (also available from Make It Crafty here if you are outside Europe) with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloured her with Copics, then cut her out. DPs are My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland - I knew exactly where I wanted the house to be so I actually used two pieces of DPs and covered the junction with my ribbon. The sentiment is Kraftin' Kimmie and comes with Joy:-)

J'ai tamponné Joy sur du papier Make It Colour (disponible aussi chez Make It Crafty ICI) à l'encre Memento Tuxedo Black, je l'ai coloriée aux Copics et découpée. Les papiers sont de chez My Mind's Eye, de la collection Winter Wonderland. Pour placer la maison où je la voulais, j'ai utilisé deux bouts de papier et caché la jonction avec mon ruban. Le sentiment est celui qui est vendu avec Joy.

Tilda's Town #21

Hello all! It is Friday and the weekend is near... I can't wait,  because it seems my lovely pupils have all shared their germs, colds, sore throats with me!!! On a happier note, it is time for the new challenge at Tilda's Town and this time the theme is "Thankful"! There is a fantastic prize, a $15 gift voucher to Tilda's Town and remember, there are no shipping charges! 

I am not very happy with my card, but then I really thought it would never happen in my condition, so let's say it is okay, considering:-)
