Paperbabe Stamps Blog Hop!

Hello everyone! Happy day, we're having a blog hop at Paperbabe Stamps today to share some gorgeous new stamps - fairies, fairies, fairies!!! And they are Chris's work!! I have always admired Chris's work from the first time I laid eyes on her creations so I'm particularly thrilled to share a make with one of them today!! She has designed a collection of beautiful Garden Fairies Stamps, the Butterfly Catcher, Butterfly Emerges, Butterfly Fairy and Musical Fairy! They are a larger set and each includes a beautiful sentiment!

I just stamped my Fairy on Canson Montval paper and decided to create a garden background for her, using mostly Zigs, water, and a bit of Posca :)

... and I added little hearts... she is spreading love you know ;)

Wonderful Wednesday

Hello everyone, it's Wonderful Wednesday time and we hope you can play along! And as always... it's ANYTHING GOES at Kraftin' Kimmie! Break out your Kraftin' Kimmie stamps and get krafty!

We want everyone to be able to play along so your submission can use ANY stamp and can be any theme, any style but it must be a NEW creation! At the end of the month, one random winner will be chosen from all the submissions for the whole month and will receive a $20 Gift Card to the shop!

In addition to the great Krafty Challenges and Wonderful Wednesdays, each month we will post a sketch. The sketch will last all month long and if you use it in ANY of our Challenges or WWs during that month, you will get an additional chance to win a store gift card! I used an adorable bunny from the Hoppy Friends set and decided to create a background in Copics for my bunny. I then stamped my sentiment in Versamark and embossed it in white and that's it :)!

Summer Scene

Hello everyone! I know summer is not here yet, but that's not a reason not to spread a bit of sunshine, right? So here is a scene I made using my Copic markers :)

For this scene, I used one of the cute Tiddly Inks characters that has just been released - this one is called Wryn Beach Party. I combined it with my all time favourite Make it Crafty background - The Beach. Here are a few pictures of the colouring process...

I coloured the sky and background first, using BG000 for the sky and BV20, C0 and C1 for the clouds. For the sand, I chose E50, 51, 53 and for my palm trees E37, B39, BG72, 93, 96, 99.

I then did the rest of the background, the sea first, using B00, 02, 04, 24, 37 and then the sand.

I then coloured Wryn's skin (E000, 00, 11, 13) and most of her outfit (see below for all colours).

I saved the hair for last, using C7, 9, BV04 and 100. To finish off the card, I added some Make it Crafty Chipboard (Alpha Mini Caps), coloured them in acrylic paint to match Wryn's glasses and put a piece of paper coloured with my 100 Copic to make the word pop a little.

I first created the clouds with ink and a cloud mask. Then I stamped my flowers. I then added a sentiment from the Butterfly Dreams set and a couple black butterflies from the same set. On a different piece of paper, I stamped 2 gorgeous butterflies from my set and coloured them in Copics :)

Krafty Komeback!

Hello everyone! It's time for a Krafty Komeback! As you know lots of the ruber stamp sets at Kraftin' Kimmie have long retired and are not available for purchase anymore. Well we've decided to switch some things up and rerelease a few of our faves in clear! And today we're announcing a new one!

This wonderful stamp set features one of our most popular images by artist Annie Rodrigue! She looks so relaxed soaking in that sumptuous bubble bath! It's BRIGITTE!!

What a fabulous set to remind our families and friends (and myself ;)!) to take time for themselves and to RELAX!

March Release and Krafty Hop!

Hello everyone! The March Release is NOW available at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - all of the SIX new clear stamp sets we've been previewing all week - and we're celebrating with a Krafty Hop! 

First up we shared a super sweet new spring set by artist Emilie Goulet - TWEETIE PIES! Next we shared cute and chubby dragons from artist Becky Pearce and it's called DARLING DRAGONS! Next we shared TWO outdoorsy sets from artist Annie Rodrigue! They are ADVENTURE MOM and FOREST BACKGROUND! March Krafty Peeks... Day FIVE and a challenge!

  Hello everyone! Welcome to Day FIVE of the March Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! 
Today is our final day of peeks and the release party is this morning at 11am EST! We've got a second set from artist Cheryl Grant and it's called HOPPY FRIENDS!

This sweet set features two main images of some super fluffy bunniesand comes with several smaller fun images plus FIVE awesome sentiments!

March Krafty Peeks... Day THREE

March Krafty Peeks... Day One

Hello everyone! It's time for our March Release Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! 

Today we're going to knock your socks off with a super sweet set of lovely ladies from artist Emilie Goulet and it's called TWEETIE PIES!! 

We're super excited to share this one because some of you have seen it already! It was the Super Secret Krafty Klub stamp set for January! So those who preordered it already have it in their inky little fingers! 

This adorable set features two main spring themed images plus four fabulous coordinating sentiments!

Tiddly Inks Challenge

Hello everyone! Today is the start of a new challenge at Tiddly Inks and this time our theme is "ANIMAL MAGIC!" So use any Tiddly Inks animal image, anything with an animal in!

I coloured my image in Copics and die cut it with a Spellbinders Circle die to match the size of my frame. The frame is simply coloured with a black Copic. To "underline" my card a little, I handstitched a black frame on my Doodlebug DPs.
