Another Christmas card

Hi everyone! I am still thinking Christmas and have made another card with a stamp and a technique I have never used before, stitching on a card! I love cross stitch (though I do not have time for that since my spare time is devoted to cardmaking), so I thought it would be nice to combine 2 things I like. But the stitching part took me a long time... I also wanted to make a card that looked "retro" and like a black and white photograph. I think it fits 4 challenges:

ABC Christmas (of course!!) - G is for Glitz with the optional extra silver (I've put a lot of silver, and the picture was very difficult to take tonight...)

Lucky Delphine!

No card tonight, but just a few words to share my joy! Not only did I win the ABC Christmas Challenge, but I will also have the honour of joining them as GD for the next two challenges! I am SOOO happy I wanted to write about it... A HUGE thank you to the whole team, to my followers and those who encouraged me to give it a try... :-) I think I am the luckiest (and happiest) girl in the world!!!

And PS: Since Lorraine added it in the comments, I was also in the top 3, which makes me VERY proud, but I did not want to sound, you know, like I was "boasting"... So in fact it has been a really 3x unbelievable day!!

Pas de carte ce soir, juste quelques mots pour partager ma joie! Non seulement j'ai eu la chance de gagner le challenge ABC Christmas, mais j'ai aussi l'honneur de les rejoindre pour les 2 prochains challenges en tant que GD! Je suis tellement heureuse que j'avais besoin de l'écrire! Un ENORME merci à toute l'équipe, à mes membres et à celles qui m'ont poussée à tenter ma chance... :-) Bisous!

PS: Puisque Lorraine l'a ajouté dans les commentaires, j'étais aussi dans le Top 3, ce dont je suis particulièrement fière, mais je ne voulais pas avoir l'air de me vanter... Journée 3x hallucinante donc!!

A Christmas card... ABC Christmas Challenge

Hi everyone! I know it's time for spring but I love Christmas cards and really wanted to make one! I am entering it into one challenge, the ABC Christmas Challenge and the letter for the challenge is F for FROSTY, with the optional extra of snow. They are also looking for Guest Designers for the following two challenges (if I wasn't a beginner, I would definitely try...), so give it a try if you are interested!

WOJ Shopping Willow - "Brown" Girl & Paper Piecing

Hello everyone! My holiday is over (back to school tomorrow!) and I know I am going to be very busy at work for the next two weeks and will not have much time for making cards... So sad! Anyway, let's talk about my latest card! It is a first for me, for many reasons: first monochromatic card, first time I have used this beautiful Shopping Willow stamp and the famous Martha Stewart doily lace punch, first time I have tried paper-piecing, first time I have entered a card into some of the following challenges (namely Whiff of Joy, and ABC)! I hope combining is not a problem because some of the rules do not mention it at all. So this card is for:

It's so difficult to take one perfect picture!

Fin des vacances et retour au collège demain... Les 2 semaines à venir seront chargées et laisseront peu voire pas de temps pour la création de cartes... Sniffff! Mais parlons donc de la toute dernière...
Une première pour moi, pour plein de raisons: 1ère carte monochrome, 1ère fois que j'utilise ce magnifique tampon "Shopping Willow" et ma perforatrice Martha Stewart (Doily Lace), 1ère utilisation de la technique du paper piecing et 1ère participation à deux des challenges (Whiff of Joy et ABC)! J'ai fait cette carte avec 5 challenges en tête:
