CC Designs Make It Monday

Hello everyone! I'm sharing a simple card with a simple home-made background paper I made for my CC Designs Make It Monday. I love adding colour to paper myself and tend not to use all the DPs in my stash. Today, I'm using a stamp from the new AmyR Spooked Out Sentiment Set, one that I find perfect to make your own paper. 

First, I stamp my sentiments several times - I want 6 for my cards, so do a couple more to be on the safe side. If you line up your sentiments very well, you could even use your sheet as is. 

To add colour, I use my Airbrush with 3 different Copics (Y13, Y38 YR09) starting with my lightest colour, then medium, then darkest colour. If you don't have an airbrush, you can use Distress Inks to create your coloured background.

I then cut all my sentiments and paste them on a piece of black cardstock. And that's the base of my card!

Now to add my coloured image, Witch Sue :)

I have used my airbrush to add some colour around her too :)
