Paperbabe Stamps Challenge #6

Hello again! I'm back to tell you about our new challenge at Paperbabe Stamps, very seasonal since it's "Spook Us", so anything Halloweeny or spooky looking!

I could not resist using the beautiful Mayleedee Witchily - I just LOVE this stamp!

I kept my card very simple as always, coloured in Copics and did the background in Copics, then added a bit of Distress Inks on the edges, as shown to me by my friend Zoe:)

Black Cat at Tiddly Inks!

Copic Marker Europe DT

Hello everyone! I am back to share my Copic Marker Europe DT card - Christmas inspiration today with a cute Santa by CC Designs.

I stamped CC Designs Santa's Chair and CC Designs Santa Claus on Make It Colour Blending Card, coloured them with my Copics and cut them out. I used a piece of BoBunny DP and white cardstock for the background of the card, joined with a Stamperia Ribbon and I added a CC Designs sentiment  from the Happy Christmas set embossed in white. I then put my Santa and his chair on foam squares. For matting, I used my Copic E49 to colour the edges of my white cardstock - an easy trick, very convenient when you don't have the right colour of cardstock ;)!

Quixotic Paperie Tiddly Inks scene!

Hello everyone! Halloween is really just around the corner, so I thought I would share a spooky cute scene with my Quixotic Paperie stamps today! This one is 100% Copics and Tiddly Inks stamp sets - I love that they include characters, accessories and sentiments - just everything I need!

I stamped the cute character from the Batty For You clear stamp set on Make It Colour Blending Card, coloured her in Copics and cut her out. For the background, I stamped the tree from the Grow Old Friends set and the moon from the Batty For You set, airbrushed the background then coloured the tree and bat. On a piece of vellum, I added the Happy Halloween sentiment from the Bewitching set and embossed it in white. I put my Batty Girl on foam squares for a bit of dimension.

Paperbabe Stamps October Release

Hello everyone!! The DT are previewing the new stamps from the October Release at Paperbabe Stamps and today we have two fantastic alphabet sets for you!

Here is what I have done, different from what I usually do (no coloured image - shock horror lol), but so fun!!!

Stamps: Paperbabe Stamps Watercolour Alphabet and Watercolour Alphabet Caps

Other: Distress Ink Pads, Tombow markers and watercolour paper

Sorry, my picture is a bit dark, but the wtc paper just would not take the light, it looks much whiter IRL :(

I stamped the shapes around the letters in Salty Ocean Distress Ink, then added the letters in Versafine Majestic Blue on watercolour paper. For the splatter, I used different stamps that come with the set, stamped in "dry" Distress Ink, then added darker shades of blue, colouring the splatter stamps with Tombow markers, and sprayed some water on my stamped card. I added a few pearls, and that was it:)!

Boo at Without Words and MiC NEW release!

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Without Words and this month our theme is "BOO"! All you have to do is to make a CAS card featuring an image coloured by you and you could win the prize offered by Crafter's Companion - a £10 Voucher to their store!

I have made a spooky scene using images from the all brand new Make It Crafty Halloween release - have you seen them??? They are just awesome!!! And there are even bonus videos by Zoe when you buy the Halloween 2014 Collection;)! 

Here is my scene using 8 different images of this release...

I started with the Grunge Frame 6x6 and built my scene inside it. I put Little Fangs in the middle, Frazzled Cat on the left (mirrored image to look towards the inside of the scene), Pumpkin Face, Grizzly Bear, Bare Tree and added a Spider on the ground, and some in the tree plus a Web in the upper right hand corner. And for a nice little touch in the upper left corner, I added Ghostly (mirrored too and of which I printed another copy of to cut it out and put it on foam squares after I coloured the scene at the end). I printed my scene on Make It Colour Blending Card, masked it, airbrushed the background and then coloured everything with my Copics.

Season's Greetings at Quixotic Paperie:)

Hello everyone! I have some Christmas inspiration today using another cutie from The Greeting Farm - Holiday Anya 4 available from Quixotic Paperie!

I stamped Holiday Anya 4 on Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured her in Copics, then cut her out. On a piece of white cardstock, I stamped the Holiday Blessings sentiment which comes from a great The Greeting Farm set called Dollie With Gifts (you can see a card with Dollie HERE). I then added a piece of Echo Park DPs and some glitter tape and red dots.
