Quixotic Paperie Spring Sale... and NOT a card ;)!

Hello everyone! I have done a little mixed media scene today featuring my favourite Some Odd Girl stamp - Geisha Kaylee who is currently on sale :)

Colouring: Copics on Make It Colour Blending Card

and acrylic paint and Pitt Artist Pens on grey white board

I stamped SOG Geisha Kaylee on Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured her in Copics then cut her out. For the base, I used a PaperArtsy Heavy Grey White Board, covered it in liquid Acrylic Paint and stamped several background stamps in paint, Versafine and white ink. To make a few elements stand out, I used Pitt Artist Pens and added details. The sentiment and flower come with Geisha Kaylee set and the little butterfly is from a Tiddly Inks set.

Happily Ever After...

Hello everyone! Just popping by to share my latest Tiddly Inks card with you, extra CAS and white on white, a look I really like :)

Other: Love die

This gorgeous couple is from the Happily Ever After set. I coloured them in Copics, cut them out and added a heart from the Harmony At Home set. Both sets are also available as digis, HERE and HERE. I put my couple and heart on foam squares onto textured paper.

And to finish off the card, I added a love word die cut.

It's finally here!  The second release from By DIEzyne Dies.  We are celebrating this weekend on Passionate Paper Creations and Friends Facebook Group and C.C. Designs Facebook Group.

For my card, I have stuck to my usual CAS designs and went for a white on white card with a frame I made with my By DIEzyne Dies of course:)

Dies: By DIEzyne Big Stitched and Pierced Rectangles

I used 2 of the 6 Big Stiched and Pierced Rectangles to make my frame and popped it on 3D foam. Butterfly Lucy is on 3D foam squares too and I added a hello die cut topped with a CC Designs Butterfly coloured in Copics and cut out :)

CC Designs Spring Background Tutorial

Hello everyone! I'm back to share a spring card with a little tutorial I made for my CC Designs post. My card features the adorable Lucy With Bunnies by CC Designs released this month and a couple stencils which are perfect to add little details to cards.

I often start by doing the backgrounds on my cards, and I started this one with a piece of cardstock the size of an ATC.

I applied Faded Jeans Distress Ink with my blending tool and then a bit of Chipped Saphire on the edges, leaving a space white for grass.

For the grass, I applied Peeled Paint (my lightest colour) first, then added Mowed Lawn keeping the lower part darker and the horizon lighter.

I then used my CC Designs Butterflies Stencil and Mini Hearts Stencil to give interest to the background. I applied Sparkle Medium (a sort of coloured glittered modeling paste) with a plastic palette knife.

I then stamped a few flowers on the grass to fill the space. And my background was done :)!

For the rest of the card, I stamped and coloured Lucy With Bunnies in Copics and cut her out. I also coloured a CC Designs Cloud Die Cut in Copics, and I put it on foam squares - and did the same for Lucy. Finally I stamped a sentiment from the AmyR Hopped Up set. Here is the finished card...

MiC Meadow Girls = BIG LOVE!!!

Hello everyone! I'm back with a spring CAS card I made for Copic Marker Europe. For this one, I have used one of the latest digi images available from Make It Crafty, one of the new Meadow Girls - available as single digis or as a set - I have totally fallen in love!!!!

This Make It Crafty image is called Wishful Asha and I have chosen to colour her in light colours for a fresh look. I coloured her in Copics of course and added a sentiment by CC Designs from the Be Happy sentiment set. To match the dragonfly on the image, I added a Make It Crafty Mini Dragonfly Chipboard which I coloured in Copics too, using the chisel nib - very convenient and easy to colour embellishments.

For the background, I used watercolour paper with Distress Paints and a couple background stamps, then I added the sentiment which comes with Wendy and to finish off the card, I added two corners I die cut with my SCACD Classic Corner Die Set (also 40% off!) and coloured them in Copics.

The card I'm sharing today features one of the Gorjuss stamps still available from the store - and 25% off too - with which I created a little scene.

This Gorjuss Girl is called Little Red and I stamped her on Make It Colour Blending Card, coloured her in Copics, then cut her out. For the background, I used watercolour paper and used a combination of Dylusion Inks for the sky and acrylic inks and acrylic paint for the rest of the background. I'm sorry, my camera hates my blue/ purple background and turned it into a flashy blue but it's more purple in real life :(... and with Blogger automatically enhancing the photos :(... well, it's nicer in real life!!!

Quixotic Paperie DT - Tuesday Premiere :)

Hello everyone! I'm back with a tiny card, ATC on card, which I made using one of my Greeting Farm stamps from Quixotic Paperie - Elaine, this post is for you :P... Elaine shares her amazing colouring on her blog HERE and has beautiful colour palettes which are very helpful - and she shared some awesome Greeting Farm among others very recently!

I stamped Tuesday Premiere from the Creepy Crew by The Greeting Farm on Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured her in Copics. For the background, I used Copic and Distress Ink and added some texture with background stamps, gold ink and acrylic paint. So fun to do! Here is a close up and list of Copics I used:
