New images and new challenge at Tiddly Inks!

Hello everyone! It's Tuesday which means there's a new challenge at Tiddly Inks BUT there are also new images being released today... and even more... like a freebie ;)! Look at the store HERE :)!

I made a simple scene with Jacquie Cousteau by Kraftin' Kimmie, combined to my favourite Make It Crafty background stamp (currently all 25% off;)!) - The Beach :)

I stamped Jacquie on Make It Colour Blending Card, masked her and stamped The Beach then coloured my scene in Copics. I only added one of the sentiments with comes with Jacquie Cousteau and that was it!

New images at Tiddly Inks!!

Hello everyone! There are some new images at Tiddly Inks, a bit different but oh so beautiful! This character is called Grace and is a fairy... and there are 3 images... and $1 each!!! I decided to use one them on a little board and make a scene - here it is!

Paperbabe Stamps Previews Day 3

Other: Neocolor II and Distress Ink on Montval wtc paper, stencil, stickers

I coloured Mayleedee In Wonderland in Copics on Make It Colour Blending Card then cut her out. For the background, I first put a layer of Neocolor II on watercolour paper, then used a stencil with Distress Ink for the circles. I faintly stamped some text in white ink and added Doodlebug stickers with a touch of white gel pen.

Paperbabe Stamps New Release Day 2

Hello everyone - again ;)! I'm back to share my DT make for Paperbabe Stamps with the new release that will be available in the shop tomorrow. We are previewing another awesome stamp set today which is presented on the BLOG HERE, the Profile Face which comes with all the stamps you need to make a profile face and which I'm in love with too!!! AND to help us with the rest of your image, there are fantastic templates being released too - and again I'm in love! You can use your stamps and templates for "regular" sized cards with your favourite medium, or you can use them to make bigger pieces... as I did today, for the first time and I have to say I am pretty excited about it :)

Stamps: Paperbabe Stamps Profile Face

Colouring: Neocolor II and Polychromos on Canson Fontenay CP

Other: Paperbabe Stamps Head & Torso Template and Wavy Hair Template

I used the Head & Torso template to trace the head, then put the outline of the face, the eye and the lip on the template to align the stamps as I wanted, grabbed them with an acrylic bloc then stamped in a light blue ink (Adirondack cloudy blue, that's all I had). I then took the Wavy Hair template and drew around it in pencil to have the general shape of the hair, then did the same to add the neck and torso. 

I coloured everything in Neocolor II, then did the hair in Polychromos, then decided to go back on the skin in pencil too. And voilà ;)

The whole piece was done on a 24x32 watercolour sheet - a scary size for me, but I'm really happy I tried! I really hope you'll give a go at these face stamps and templates, they are going to change your life ;)!!!

Wryn the Mermaid

Hello everyone! I'm back to share a little make featuring one of the NEW Tiddly Inks images released this week - the adorable Wryn the Mermaid! I created a little scene on a piece of board, using acrylics for the background and Copics for Wryn:)

Images and stamps: Tiddly Inks Wryn the Mermaid and Floating By set

Colouring: Copics on Make It Colour Blending Card and acrylic paint on white board

I created the background using Fresco Paint and Liquitex Acrylic markers on a piece of white board, stamped the sentiment from the Floating By set in Versamark and embossed it in white. Wryn the Mermaid is coloured in Copics on Make It Colour Blending Card, cut out and put on foam squares for a bit of dimension.

For my card, I used the super cute Raccoon stamp - so realistic and as always, the shading on the image makes the colouring very easy ;)!

Paperbabe Stamps New Release - Day 1

Hello everyone! Today is the first preview day of Paperbabe Stamps new release, and let me tell you, it's a fantastic one!!! Kim shared sneaked peeks of everything that is coming here, and today we are showing you the Mini Doll Face stamp set which contains all the little stamps you need to make a face - and there are templates too that you can use to draw the shape of the head, shoulders and hair too and which are just brilliant! The perfect addition to your collection to have fun creating faces! I am totally in LOVE!!! Here is what I did  for today:

Stamps: Paperbabe Stamps Mini Doll Face stamp set, A Lot Like Christmas set and templates

Colouring: Neocolor II, acrylic paint and markers on Canson Montval

Other: Stencil

To do my face, I selected the stamps I wanted to use from the Mini Doll Face set - because the set includes a lot of different possibilities - and placed them on the face template to position them, then grabbed them with an acrylic block. On my watercolour paper, I traced the outline of the face in pencil, then stamped my face. I painted the hair without a template, but there is also one if you prefer to use a template. I really wanted to try my face in a mixed media style although I have never coloured a face that way, but I had so much fun doing it! I used Neocolor II and a bit of acrylic paint. For the hair, I used acrylic markers and the background is Neocolor II. At last, I added the text which is the Paperbabe Stamps A Lot Like Christmas  text in white ink and added details with a stencil, and voilà!

Make It Crafty spring scene

Hello everyone! I'm back to share a CAS spring scene card I made for Copic Marker Europe using digis by Make It Crafty.

The character I used is Jena Blue Bird from the Meadow Girls Collection. I wanted to make a one layer card with a little something at the top so decided to use Flower Tree Branch by Make It Crafty too, which I pasted several times and sometimes rotated to create the little branch border. I added the Smile sentiment, a digital sentiment by Make It Crafty, then printed my scene and coloured it in Copics.
