Hello everyone! I'm back to share my inspiration card for our current CAS Challenge at Make It Crafty - MASKING! There are lots of ways to mask, I decided to go for rubber stamp masking to create a scene.
I used one of the new rubber stamp sets just released - there are three of them, the most adorable sets with perfect accessories to complement the character. All the elements on my card come from the Make A Wish Asha set - the dandelions, the cloud and of course Asha. I stamped Asha first since I wanted her to be in the foreground and masked her with a Post-It Note.
I always stamp on a piece of draft paper to determine how to place the elements for my scene. For the mask, I also only cut out the parts of my image that will need to be masked. No need to cut the image on the right here, just the upper and lower parts of the hair on the left, so that creating the mask really did not take long.
After masking Asha, I stamped the grass border with dandelions then added the cloud. I then coloured my scene in Copics and added a Mini Dragonfly Chipboard, covered in Copics and stickles, and a punched heart.
