Hello everyone! As some of you are aware, I travelled to England last weekend to attend the awesome Kim's (Paperbabe Stamps) Mixed Media class!! It was a dream for me to go there and I had the best time ever!! I am still on cloud 9 thinking of the time I had! I met lovely, lovely ladies (hey there ;)!!!) and Kim is the sweetest, best teacher you can find!
The aim of the class was to make a gorgeous portrait and to do so, we used Paperbabe Stamps Templates and Stamps and different media.
Here is my little BIG workspace with all the best stuff to create with :)
I took a picture of my work in progress - sorry, my phone does not take the best pictures!!
And just for the record for myself, a picture of my delicious English lunch hehe;)
After lunch, we continued working on our portraits and you can see below what we did (sorry for the bad pic!)!
I had not completely finished when we took the photo (I may be a little bit slow... and I always have to come back and add details!!), so worked on my piece afterwards, added more colours to the face, highlights and blush, painted the edges of the block and here it is all finished, on my French desk :)...
I have to say that I am very excited and happy with what I managed to do all thanks to Kim!!!
Paperbabe Stamps Products used to create my portrait:
Challenges I am entering:
Take It Make It Challenge - Take A Stamp Anything Goes (please feel free to delete my entry if class make cannot be entered, all the merit going to Kim!!)
I still can't believe how lucky I have been to be there and how much I have learnt in one day! And I can't wait to do more!!!
Huge thanks to Kim for everything and all the wonderful memories!! Hugs,
Delphine xx
Delphine your finished piece is gorgeous! You are not slow huni. My stamped face requires a lot more work and I desperately need to get some supplies to finish too. I wholeheartedly agree with you about the lovely Kim - the best teacher who shared everything with us and was very patient too! Your piece is exquisite and I'm so happy to see the finished result, thank you for sharing Karen xx
