No colouring... almost!

Hello everyone! I'm back today to share a very CAS card, inspired by our January CAS Challenge theme at Make it Crafty - No Images! I used one of the new chipboard quotes and tried to avoid colouring - I did cheat a little since I coloured a heart ;) but no character! Here is my card:

I used the Make it Crafty Inside Your Hug Chipboard and coloured it with a black Copic. For the background, I used several Distress Inks applied with a blending tool and added stamped stitches around my coloured square. I stamped a heart from the Harmony At Home stamp set by Tiddly Inks, coloured it with Copics and cut it out. I also added a heart Chipboard from the Outlined Words With Love Chipboard Set which I painted with Distress Paint and covered in Stickles.

Aren't those Baby Shoes the cutest? I just had to use them and combine them with hearts :)! I coloured them in Copics, die cut them with an MFT Die then added a bit of Distress Inks with my Blending Tool. The DPs are by Toga and I added a little die cut heart.

All about Love!

Hello everyone! I love having hearts on cards, so with Valentine's Day just around the corner, now is the perfect time to share some love ;)! Here is a card I made for Copic Marker Europe :)

I used one of the adorable Cupids from CC Designs, stamped and die cut with a heart frame die from the CC Designs Cutter Make A Card #12 Smoochies Die. I stamped a second Cupid on another piece of card to colour him with my Copics, then fussy cut it and pasted it on my framed Cupid. I added a sentiment from the Cupids stamp set and used little hearts from the frame, coloured them in Copics and adhered them to the card.

White: W0, 1, 3

Black: T5, 7, 9

Red: R35, 37, 39

Kraftin' Kimmie Wonderful Wednesday!

Hello everyone! It's Wonderful Wednesday time and we hope you can play along!! And as always... it's ANYTHING GOES at Kraftin' Kimmie! Break out your Kraftin' Kimmie stamps and get krafty! 

Also, the January release is in the KRAFTY STORE now!! There are lots of gorgeous stamps to choose from and I couldn't resist using one of them today!

January Release Day and Krafty Hop!

Hello everyone! It's here! The release of the very first new Kraftin' Kimmie stamp sets of 2016!! And it's totally Paw-Some ;)! All the new stamp sets we have been previewing this week have been released and we're celebrating with a Krafty Hop! 

We have two beautiful stamp sets from artist Annie Rodrigue called MINNIE, MAISIE & ME! and PURR-FECT PRINCESS! There's a sweet new set by artist Cheryl Grant called TALK TO THE ANIMALS! Then there's a very special set by artist Emilie Goulet called A FURRY SURPRISE! - and what's extra special about this set is that Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps will be donating a portion of the sale of each of this set to a local non-profit animal rescue organization to help take care of our furry friends who are in need of rescue! Lastly, we have two fun new sets from artist Becky Pearce called A PURR-FECT DAY and TOTALLY PAW-SOME!

January Krafty Peeks... Day FIVE plus a Challenge!

Hello everyone! Welcome to Day FIVE of our January Krafty Previews! We're back today with our final set of the new release of clear stamps! We've got another set of sweet furry friends from artist Becky Pearce! It's called TOTALLY PAW-SOME! and has so many images and fun extra stampy elements to play with plus a bunch of sweet sentiments for a total of EIGHTEEN stamps including a fun thought bubble!

I couldn't resist using the 3 little dogs from the set! I stamped the paw prints and sentiment on white Cardstock, stamped my dogs on Make it Colour Blending Card and coloured them in Copics. I cut them out and put them on foam squares for a bit of dimension.

Make it Crafty CAS Challenge

Hello everyone! I'm back to share my inspiration card for our current CAS Challenge at Make it Crafty - No Images! I can hear you scream and trust me, I was scared too - what, make a card without an image??? Well, yes, it is scary but it's a fun challenge! And you can use chipboard ;)! Here is my CAS card:

I used watercolour paper for the background and my Tombow and Zig pens in shades of blue and dark purple - which unfortunately my camera did not pick very well! I embossed my beautiful MiC quote Shoot For The Moon Chipboard with white embossing powder and used a moon and little stars from the Shooting Stars Elements Chipboard Set. I coloured the stars with a Pitt pen and the moon with Distress Paint and covered them in Stardust Stickles (Wink of Stella for the moon).

January Krafty Peeks... Day ONE!

Hello everyone! Welcome to Day ONE of our January Krafty Previews at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! We are so excited to kick off 2016 with a "s-pet-tacular" new release of clear stamps that we know will give you the warm fuzzies! For my CAS card, I stamped Purr-fect Princess on Make it Colour Blending Card, coloured it in Copics then cut her out. I made the background on a piece of watercolour paper and coloured using Zig pens. I put my princess on foam squares for a bit of dimension, and that's it :)

Paperbabe Stamps Challenge #24

Hello everyone! Happy Friday! Today is the start of the first challenge of the year at Paperbabe Stamps and our theme is an easy one - ANYTHING GOES! We would love to see your Paperbabe Stamps and Templates, but you are of course welcome to use anything you like! I went a bit Mixed Media for this one and made another portrait - I absolutely love all the face stamps and hair templates Paperbabe Stamps have!

Colouring: Watercolour, Zig pens and Copic Markers on Canson Montval

For the face, I used my Paperbabe Profile Face Mini Stamp Set and stamped the different elements using either Versafine Onyx Black or Memento Summer Sky. I used the Profile Face Mini Curly Fringe Template and traced around it to create the hair. To colour, I used watercolour and Zig pens and for the hair I used Copics. I thought about adding other details on the background but finally decided to leave my portrait like that, I like it like that I think :)
