Hello everyone! I thought I would share how I made "mass-production" Christmas cards - because, well, you know, I'm always behind ;)!
First I chose a cute image I love, Holly by Tiddly Inks. I cropped it to match the size of card I wanted (I wanted my image to be like an ATC) and added a digital sentiment by Tiddly Inks too, then reproduced my "image" 8 times on an A4 sheet.
I started colouring the skin of all my characters using E000, 00, 04, 11 - colouring everything that has to be the same colour saves you time too since you don't have to change and look for markers all the time :)
Next I coloured the dress and thought I would make little differences, so I made some red (C7, R35, 37, 39), others blue (B02, 04, 06, 37), purple (V09, 15, 17) or orange (R35, Y15, YR16, 18).
I then coloured the holly on all my images, then the hair - here 2 different colours, black (100, BV04, C7, 9) and brown (E25, 31, 59). Again I coloured all the black hair then all the brown instead of working one image after the other :)
And here is the set of images...
And my tiny cards, with a very simple layout - just a piece of DP behind my image. I may add pearls or dots but decided to leave them like that for now.
Blue: B02, 04, 06, 37
Red: C7, R35, 37, 39
Orange: R35, Y15, YR16, 18
Purple: V09, 15, 17
And for all the girls:
Skin: E000, 00, 04, 11
Brown Hair: E25, 31, 59
Black Hair: 100, BV04, C7, 9
Holly: BG09, YG01, 03, 17
That's all from me today! Thank you very much for your visit and have a Merry Christmas everyone! Hugs,
Delphine xx
