Tilda's Town Challenge #3

Hello all! Happy Friday, nearly the weekend, and time for a new challenge at Tilda's Town! Our third challenge is to "Use a Magnolia Accessory Stamp", of course along with your Tilda or Edwin:-)! 1, 2, 3... Frenchies for Make It Crafty!

Hello all! I hope you are well? I'd like to share the card I have made for my Make It Crafty DT post, another card with the Frenchies. Why? Well, my last MIC project featured Valerie only, which I think is really not fair to the other Frenchies:-), and since I love them all, I decided to use the three of them together! Here they are... 

I chose to focus on their cute little faces and ice-creams, so I cropped my images at the same size and added a black frame to each of them in Word. I added my sentiment and printed my "scene" on Make It Colour Blending Card, then coloured with Copics. As embellishments, only a little piece of ribbon and 2 Make It Crafty chipboards from the Mix n Match Centres chipboard set. I layered them and finished with a little gem. Here are close ups on my images and the Copics I used on each:

May Release Review at All That Scraps!

Hello all! A little post from me today to share a card I made with one of the new CC Designs stamps from the May release at All That Scraps, Bumble Bella! 

Bonjour à tous! Un petit message aujourd'hui pour vous montrer une carte que j'ai faite avec l'un des nouveaux tampons CC Designs, Bumble Bella, nouveauté du mois de mai chez All That Scraps!

Colouring: Copics on Make It Colour Blending Card

Dies: CC Cutters Curly-Q, Grass Border, Flower Border

DPs: Echo Park

Other: Star Dust Stickles, ribbon, pearls and Papermania Shimmer Dots

The flower border was die cut twice, on black CS and on yellow CS, to create the yellow flowers, an idea totally cased from Pam, she always does the most beautiful things with her dies! The DPs reminded me of the Curly Q die, I just had to use it behind my piece of ribbon! 

J'ai fait deux découpes de la bordure de fleurs, une sur du noir, l'autre sur du jaune, puis j'ai découpé quelques fleurs, un procédé directement inspiré par Pam, qui fait toujours des choses extraordinaires aves ses découpes! Les papiers me rappelaient trop la découpe Curly Q, obligée de l'utiliser derrière mon bout de ruban:-)!

Hello everyone! We have a fantastic Special Release at All That Scraps, which will be available tomorrow the 17th, and it is... drum roll, please... The Sugarplum Beach Kit!

All the elements on my card come from the Sugarplum Beach Kit - except for the sentiment which is from the AmyR Summer Sentiments set. The kit includes 4 characters and several super cute accessories. It is ATS beautifully deep etched red rubber, comes attached to gray ez-mount foam, ready to be cut out. You can purchase it from May 17th to May 31st for 20% off regular price, after the 31st the kit will be regular MSRP. Please note, the stamps will only be available as a kit and only available at All That Scraps.

To create this little scene, I used DPs by Stamperia (sky) and Fancy Pants (sand), and I made the waves with my Fiskars punch and coloured them with Copics:-)

Pour ma petite scène, j'ai utilisé des papiers Stamperia (ciel) et Fancy Pants (sable), et j'ai créé les vagues avec ma perforatrice Fiskars, puis je les ai coloriées au Copic:-)

E card with Magnolias:-) - Copic Marker Europe DT

Hello all! I hope you are well? I'm back today with an "E card" I made for Copic Marker Europe with some "old" Magnolias on it! Our current challenge is Monochrome so I thought I would make a card using E Copics only. If you'd like to enter, you need to hurry, it ends tonight!

 

Bonjour à tous! Me revoilà avec une "E carte" pour Copic Marker Europe, avec mes "vieux" tampons Magnolia, une carte pour laquelle je n'ai utilisé que des Copics E, inspirée par notre challenge "monochrome"... Pour participer, il faut vous dépêcher, vous avez jusqu'à ce soir!

I have used Longing Tilda and Castle Window, and the sentiment, stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa, is by CC Designs from the So Wordy set. Papers are My Mind's Eye. To colour my image, the first thing I did was to colour the whole wall in my lightest colour E40 and then I coloured each stone, instead of colouring the stones and then having to colour the background. Here is a close-up of my image and all the E Copics I used...

J'ai utilisé Longing Tilda et Castle Window, le sentiment vient du set CC Designs So Wordy, tamponné avec de l'encre marron (Memento Rich Cocoa). Papiers My Mind's Eye. Pour colorier mon image, j'ai d'abord colorié tout le mur avec ma couleur la plus claire E40, puis j'ai colorié chaque pierre, plutôt que de colorier les pierres pour ensuite colorier le ciment du mur... Gros plan et Copics utilisés...

The French touch at Make It Crafty

Hello everyone! Today, I am sharing the card I made for the Make It Crafty store blog:-)... actually, not the one I intended at first:-)! Zoe released the super cute Frenchies, and it was love at first sight, and not just because they are Frenchies:-)! How could I resist? So I just had to make a little French scene... 

Bonjour à tous! Aujourd'hui, je vous montre la carte que j'ai faite pour le blog de la boutique Make It Crafty:-)..., en fait pas celle que j'avais en tête au départ! Zoe a sorti 3 nouvelles images mangas, les Frenchies, et j'ai eu le coup de foudre!!! Obligée d'en utiliser une:-)...

Colouring: Copics on Make It Colour Blending Card

 I have used Frenchie Valerie and created a background for her merging different images from the Paris Elements Digi Collection (the café window, the sidewalk and the lamppost), then I added some text in French in the window using Word. It reads "Ice cream and sorbets, 68 flavours, eat here or take away". To colour Valerie, I cased Zoe's coloured sample from the store, I loved the idea of using the colours of the French flag:-)! Here is a close up and list of Copics used... 

J'ai utilisé Frenchie Valerie et créé un fond à partir d'éléments de la collection Paris Elements Digi Collection (la vitrine, le trottoir, le lampadaire), puis j'ai ajouté du texte en français. Pour colorier Valerie, j'ai copié les couleurs de l'exemple colorié par Zoe et gardé le bleu blanc rouge:-)... Gros plan et Copics utilisés...

All That Scraps Final Preview Day

I am back to share my card for Day 4 of the May Release Previews at All That Scraps, and today the DT are showing off the new Sweet November stamps, the Garden Gnomes!

Me revoilà donc pour la 4e et dernière journée de présentation des nouveautés chez All That Scraps, aujourd'hui des tampons de la ligne Sweet November, les Garden Gnomes! 

I have used the adorable Elsie on my card! There she is...

J'ai choisi d'utiliser l'adorable Elsie! Voici ma carte...

I love Elsie in her garden! My card using the BoBunny DPs is inspired by Amy, illustrator of the Sweet November stamps, she always does the most beautiful scenes using what is on her DPs, I tried to take advantage of the DPs too! I have also used the new CC Cutters Die - the fence, the grass border and the flowers! I have coloured all my die cuts with Copics, and I tried to give texture to my fence with my colouring. If you don't want to colour the fence, Pam has made a fantastic video on how to give texture and dimension to your fences, take a look HERE! Bo Bunny DPs, Papermania Shimmer Dots in the flowers, pearls from stash and that's it!

J'adore Elsie dans son jardin! J'ai utilisé des papiers Bo Bunny, en essayant de tirer profit des papiers pour une petite mise en scène, inspirée des cartes d'Amy, l'illustratrice des tampons Sweet November, elle fait des cartes tellement belles! J'ai aussi utilisé les nouvelles découpes CC Cutters, Fence, Grass et Flower Borders (la barrière, l'herbe et les feurs), toutes colriées au Copic et j'ai essayé de donne un peu de texture à ma barrière en la coloriant. Pour donner texture et dimension à la barrière, Pam a fait une super vidéo que vous pouvez voir ICI!

What I had in mind was to put the focus and spotlight on the gorgeous Mermaid Shellina and I kept thinking about portholes, so here is the result! I have used the Underwater Mermaid Surprise Scene and only kept a small part of the image. It was coloured with Copics on Make It Colour Blending Card. I added a Circle Flourish Frame and Swirly Corners Chipboard and wanted to have a sort of rusty look, so I coloured them with Copics, and added a mixture of Diamond Glaze and Glamour Dust to each chipboard (and to the mermaid also for a bit of sparkle)! Here is a close up on the image and list of Copics used...

Je voulais mettre l'accent et un coup de projecteur sur cette superbe sirène Shellina et j'avais en tête les hublots des bateaux, voilà le résultat! J'ai en fait utilisé une scène Underwater Mermaid Surprise Scene, don't je n'ai gardé qu'une petite partie. Mon image est imprimée sur du papier Make It Colour et coloriée au Copic. En embellissement, un cadre - Circle Flourish Frame - et des coins - Swirly Corners - et comme l'idée était celle d'un hublot peut-être un peu rouillé, j'ai colorié tous mes chipboard au copic et ajouté un mélange de Diamond Glaze et Glamour Dust (Vernis colle + paillettes)! J'en ai aussi mis sur la sirène... Gros plan et Copics utilisés...

ATS Preview Day 3 - new artist!

Hello! Huge thanks for all your lovely comments first, I really appreciate! As you can see, I am having a super busy week, but it is almost finished:-), I'll leave you alone soon and will visit you all then:-)! It is the third day of previews at All That Scraps, and today we are introducing a new artist drawing really fun images called Mashi's Muffins!

Comme vous l'avez constaté, ma semaine est un peu chargée, mais presque finie:-), je vais bientôt vous laisser tranquille ici et vous rendre visite chez vous:-)! Troisième jour de présentation des nouveautés chez All That Scraps avec une nouvelle artiste qui fait des images très rigolotes, les Mashi's Muffins!

I have used Berry Beth on my card and the sentiment is from the Berry Logos set. All the DPs are by Doodlebug, the ribbon is from my friend Flo (thank you:-)!), and the pearls and gems are from my stash.

 

Pour ma carte, j'ai utilisé Berry Beth et le sentiment vient du set Berry Logos. Papiers Doodlebug, ruban de ma copinette Flo (merci:-)!), perles et brillants du fond d'un tiroir!

Preview Day 2 at All That Scraps

Hello all! Today is the second day of previews at All That Scraps and the DT are showing new CC Designs stamps you are going to love, totally adorable as always! And also new dies, new sentiments... so many things!

This cutie is Cherry Lucy, she's sitting on the Spring Bench from on older release, and the cherries hanging from the corner of the image have been made with the new CC Cutter Cherry Die, coloured with Copics. The sentiment is from the Berry Logos set.

Cherry Lucy est assise sur le banc Spring Bench d'une ancienne collection, les cerises qui pendent au coin de l'image ont été faites avec la nouvelle découpe cerise CC Cutter Cherry Die puis coloriées au Copic. Le sentiment vient du set Berry Logos.
