October Krafty Peeks... Day ONE!

Hello everyone! Welcome to Day ONE of our October Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps... We are super excited to bring you THREE new sets this week!!

Krafty Tips and Tuts - Airbrushed Scene with Masking

Hello everyone! I'm sharing a little tutorial today - a simple scene with masking and airbrushing!

For my character, I picked a cute sweetie from the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Halloween Lulu set, just rereleased as rubber. I also used the KKS Spooky Silhouettes set, a fabulous set to create Halloween scenes!

I stamped my character in Wicked Black Hybrid Ink on my Copic card and on a Post-It to mask her.

I then stamped a tree from the Spooky Silhouettes set three times. 

I then placed a mask to mimick a hill.

I airbrushed the sky RV23 and 66 starting from the bottom and then I started from the top with YR18 then YR04.

I used the other part of my mask to then cover the sky and create the hill. I used G29, YG03, 67. 

Next I coloured my sweetie in Copics and went back on the trees with a black Copic multiliner to make them really black.

Skin: E000, 00, 11

Hair: BV04, C7, 9, 10

Outfit: C5, 7, 9, 10, R35, 37, 39

Pumpkin: Y35, 38, YR04, 18 

And lastly, I coloured a tiny piece of paper in YG03 and stamped a Halloween sentiment from the Spooky Silhouettes set, and voilà!

Paperbabe Stamps Challenge

Hello everyone! Today is the start of a new challenge at Paperbabe Stamps and we have a great sketch for you this time!

I decided to make a little Halloween card - love making those!

Stamps: Paperbabe Stamps Mayleedee Witchily

Colouring: Copics on Make it Colour Blending Card

Stencil: Paperbabe Stamps Stripes

I coloured Mayleedee Witchily in Copics and added a bit of Distress Inks on the background. I then used my Stripes Stencil with a bit of Distress Ink too, to add some interest, and a few dots in gold gel pen.

Puppy Love

Hello everyone! I'm sharing the card I made for Copic Marker Europe, a sweet little card in no line colouring. I used an adorable image by MFT from the You Have My Heart set.

I started by colouring the sun in Y00, then sweeping from right to left and left to right, using V000, YR000, BG000 for the sky. 

I then moved to the grass, using T7, G28, YG67 then YG17, 03, 01.

Next I coloured my character with my usual E000, 00, 11 for the skin, V09, 15, 17 and RV52, 55 for the clothes.

For the hair, I used E25, 59, and YR23 and I coloured her puppy friend in E41, 42, 43. I did the eyes in a brown Polychromo pencil.

I then added blades of grass in T7 and G28. I also put some flowers in gel pens and added a little heart chipboard coloured in gel pen too.

September Release Krafty Hop

  Hello everyone! Today we are celebrating the release of all the stamp sets and inks from our Holiday Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! All FOUR new clear stamp sets, TWO new Krafty Kolours Inks and TWO Halloween Rubber Rerelease are now available in the Krafty Shop!

Inspirational Wednesday at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Hello everyone! It's Inspirational Wednesday at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and my turn to share a card with you! For my make, I chose to use one of the fabulous Halloween sets available from the store - Mini Monsters! AND it's ON SALE !!

Colouring: Copics on Make it Colour Blending Card and Distress Inks

Die: Lawn Fawn

I coloured my monsters using Copics then did some fussy cutting. To create my background, I used a Lawn Fawn die then applied various Distress Inks on it. I then added a sentiment from the Mini Monsters set and put my images on foam squares. The card base is Doodlebug DPs:)
