Glimps DT: Mixed Media Canvas Board

Hello everyone! I'm going Mixed Media today with my Glimps DT make, since I really wanted to use the Painter digi and it called for a bit of painting ;)

Using pink and white Pebeo Acrylic paint, I covered my 10x10cm canvas board.

I then painted a red heart in the middle of my canvas. Using a sponge, I added red paint on the edges of my canvas, and once the red was dry, I did the same with black acrylic paint. 

I added gold hearts with my Kraftin' Kimmie Happy Hearts Stencil and a gold gel pen. I then put some black outlines in Posca pen. I also put a bit of gold on the edges of the canvas. 

I coloured the Painter image in Copics:

Skin: E000, 00, 11, R12, Y71

Eyes: B00, 02, 63

Hair: E25, 59, YR24

Red: R35, 37, 39

Black: T5, 7, 9

Brush: E31, 35, 37, 74, 77, 79, Y11, 26, 28

I then glued my image to the board with tape, and voilà :)!

March Release Krafty Hop

  Hello everyone! Today we are celebrating the release of all the new goodies from our March Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! All THREE new clear stamp sets are NOW available in the Krafty Shop, along with our new pretty Sparkling Sapphire Hybrid Ink, TWO new stencils called LEAVES & VINES and STARBURST and our new SPRINGY DOTS!!

As for the stamp sets, first up is the incredible set from Melissa Baker-Nguyen called LLAMA DRAMA! Next is the lovely new set by artist Cheryl Grant called FAWN'D OF YOU! And the last set is from our newest artist Neda Sadreddin, called YOU GIVE ME WINGS!

Stencil: KKS Starburst Stencil

I stamped my fairy and door in KKS Wicked Black Hybrid Ink and coloured them in Copics, creating a tree around the door. For the background, I used B69, 16, 04 Copic Refills on Transotype Synthetic Paper, and I used G28 and Y13 refills to create two pieces of grass.
I also added stars to my sky with my KKS Starburst Stencil and a gold gel pen. I then put all my elements together on a piece of grey board to create my little scene.

March Krafty Peeks... Day THREE and a Challenge

 Hello everyone! Welcome back to our third and final day of Krafty Peeks for our March Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! We have a fairy sweet stamp set from our newest artist Neda Sadreddin called YOU GIVE ME WINGS!

It's also Challenge Day and the challenge is ANYTHING GOES (as it always is during release week)! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a KKS stamp! I stamped my fairy in Wicked Black Ink and coloured it in Copics. For the background, I used our new Sparkling Sapphire Ink with a blending tool and I added a few stars in gel pen, using my KKK Starburst Stencil.

March Krafty Peeks... Day TWO

I stamped the sweet girl and fawn from the set and built a scene around them. I coloured everything in Copics. I added some leaves around my image using my new KKS Krafty Stencil Leaves and Vines and Emerald Ink. I then added a few dots in Posca pens.
