Voici une horrible photo, faite avec plein de lumière et de flash pour montrer le Diamond Glaze

The fairy's wings, grey stars (and pink stars on the ribbon), the sentiment and swirl have all been made the same way: I mixed Diamond Glaze and Glamour Dust then applied with a brush... The pink stars are white CS, punched then coloured with RV02 Copic. The stars for the sentiment were handmade, I added some Spun Sugar DI on the edges, then Diamond Glaze + Glamour Dust.

Pour les ailes de la fée, étoiles grises, étoiles roses sur le ruban, le sentiment et le swirl, j'ai mélangé vernis Diamond Glaze et paillettes Glamour Dust d'abord, puis appliqué le mélange à l'aide d'un pinceau... Les petites étoiles roses ont été perforées dans du papier blanc, puis coloriées au Copic RV02, les étoiles du sentiment sont faits main, toutes ont été recouvertes de mon mélange...

Guess who has not been working...

Hello all! First, thank you VERY much for the comments you left on my previous card, they really mean a lot to me:-). And for those of you wondering, no, my son still doesn't want to leave me to go to school, mornings are really hard but his days at school seem to be okay. Better than nothing, I guess the rest will come... sooner or... LATER!!! (I have stopped hoping it would come fast...).

I had decided to spend time crafting this weekend, and I made a second card... So no work, but cards... I have used a Tiddly Inks image - I have just found out about them and I love them :-)!

October's almost there...

I have been a bit "down" lately and haven't even had the time or/and energy to go blogging or to make cards. But I decided that was enough and I had to do something about it and eventually made a card to cheer myself up:-)... Bonsoir, une carte enfin pour essayer de me remonter le moral, pas merveilleux ces derniers temps... 

The longest part was the shading around the image... I followed Mary's fabulous tutorial (but not with grey:-)) and stamped my image twice. I coloured one and cut it out. I used the other image to do the shading first with Copics, then with two different Distress Inks, then I pasted my coloured image on the other one... I should have used 3D foam, but wanted thin foam and couldn't find any:-(...

Unbelievable... a card!

Hi everyone! I hope you are well. A crazy week and a crazy day again for me! No problem with going back to school for my 10-year-old son, but for my 3-year-old, that is a different story... He just kept crying and crying this morning, telling me he didn't want to go, didn't want to sleep at school, I couldn't leave him... He didn't have a great day and while he was waiting to have lunch he realised some parents were here to pick up their children, so he left the line and ran to the door, you know just in case... I just hope he gets used to school really fast...

Anyway (sigh), I have a little card tonight. I will not tell you how long it has taken me (I am too ashamed, soooo long) and it is for 2 challenges:

Still alive...

Hi all! In case some of you have doubts, I am still alive! I have had a terribly busy week with my 2 sons and 2 stepchildren going back to school... and my other half + me going back to school/ work too! Yes, going back to school times 6 for us... A simple wedding card

Hi all! A quick post from me today, just to show you the card I made for my friend's wedding last week. I have kept it simple, though I was dying to add a bow and also wanted to use Flower Soft, but I didn't because I don't have the perfect glue and my card was meant to "travel" a little, so I was afraid the result wouldn't be really nice. A simple card then!

Bye Copics, hello Tombows...

Hello everyone! It's Inspiration Week at Anya Ink, and you can still enter our Black and White + One challenge. The DT have made gorgeous creations and there is a great tutorial by our very talented Peta about black and white colouring, but not with Copics... If you want to learn a bit more, take a look!

For my card, I said "bye Copics"... Yes, I was waiting for my C refills to arrive so couldn't colour black and White with my Copics, hence my choice of Tombows...

Ma carte est coloriée avec des Tombows, pas le choix j'attendais mes recharges de Copics...

I couldn't resist this time, just had to use pink, I love this colour combo...

I stamped my image twice to have another copy of the little butterflies around the branch, poor butterflies that I cut and killed on purpose (how cruel) when I cut my image, then I pasted new butterflies where they were supposed to be and added a couple others...

I also dotted the background using 3 different grey Tombows, the way some people do with Copics, then added water with my brush to blend a little...

J'ai tamponné l'image 2 fois pour avoir d'autres petits papillons à coller sur ceux que j'ai sauvagement coupés en 2 exprès quand j'ai coupé mon image, et j'en ai ajouté 2 autres un peu plus gros... Pour le fond autour de Nora, j'ai simplement fait des petits points avec 3 Tombows gris comme on peut le faire avec les Copics, puis j'ai passé un pinceau humide...

Christmas in July

Hi all! Well, this is a scheduled post, I am probably on the beach now, and I hope Mr Blogger is doing his job! Today is the new challenge at Anya Ink and it is "Christmas in July"! Hi all! I hope you are all well and do not suffer from the heat too much! I just wanted to write a few words first to apologise to those of you I did not have time to visit in the past few days (I have been super busy at work!) and also to tell you that I am going on holiday (in the South West, not really far from Spain), leaving on Saturday (though nothing is ready yet :-)!). I will be away for almost 3 weeks... without a computer/ internet connection, so I will not be able to visit you! I am going to miss you and will get back to you as soon as I can! My Anya Ink DT card will be posted tomorrow but then, you won't really hear from me... Keep having fun making gorgeous cards and talk to you soon!

Un petit coucou pour vous dire que je pars en vacances pour 3 semaines sans ordinateur/internet et donc je ne pourrai pas vous rendre visite...
