Art Journal Page with CC Designs

Hello everyone! I'm posting another page from my art journal today, the second page I did actually - although I have shared page 1 here and page 3 here. I'm using one of the latest CC Designs stamps released, the adorable Cupid :)

I stamped Cupid on Make It Colour Blending Card, coloured her in Copics then cut her out. For the background, I used mostly acrylic paint; for the sun, a stencil, modeling paste and gelatos, and I used 2 different stamps for the flowers (stamped several times) and went over the heart flowers with Pitt Artist pens. The letters are stickers.

New Beginnings at Tiddly Inks... and art journal:)

Hello everyone! It's our first challenge of the year at Tiddly Inks and the theme is "New Beginnings"! So grab your favourite Tiddly Inks stamp or digi and think along the lines of new year, new babies, new job, new home etc!!

I had new baby in mind and thought I would create a page in the art journal I started during the holidays. This is page 3 - page 1 is HERE and I'll post page 2 on Thursday ;)

I love Lullaby and had great fun creating a page for this image! I coloured my image in Copics and pasted her at the end. The background was done with Gelatos and Pitt pens and the letters are stickers covered in acrylic paint and stickles:).

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Without Words and this month, the theme is "Dreaming of Spring"! We hope to see you join us with your CAS card focussing on a hand coloured image! For today's card I was in a watercolournig mood and decided to use a gorgeous stamp by Crissy Armstrong - I have always had a soft spot for the beautiful innocence of the children she draws! Here is Liberty's Friend...

I really enjoyed creating a scene for her and added a Branch by Make It Crafty to fill the space a little at the top. The whole background was done using my Sennelier watercolours and I only used a bit of Distress Markers on the little girl to add a bit of details:)

I stamped Cheers Anya by The Greeting Farm on Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured her with my Copics then cut her out. I coloured a piece of white cardstock using several Distress Inks then stamped a bauble stamp to fill the background. On a strip of black cardstock, I samped the word Celebrate in Versamark and embossed it in gold.

Make It Crafty Blog Hop!

We have gorgeous flowers blooming just for you today! We are excited to be sharing a new release of beautifully illustrated flower stamps from Make It Crafty. They are intricate and delicate with lots of details and are the perfect choice for many occasions. These gorgeous new flowers are available in both digital and rubber and the rubber stamps also come with a handwritten sentiment, which of course you could use between all the different flowers.

For my card, I decided to colour the gorgeous Roses of Love!

I used my watercolours to colour my stamp - very fun but sometimes a bit unpredictable;) - and only added the handwritten love sentiment which comes with the stamp and which is perfect with it! And as very often, I could not bring myself to add anything else, just let the image speak for itself.

I wanted to create a stage for my star and made all the background out of pieces of paper following Vicky's technique . I have always been interested in backgrounds and filling my blank card, so I was very excited to try a new type of backgrounds. It all took me about 10 hours, but that's what holidays are for ;)

Hello everyone! I'm popping by to share a simple Christmas card I made with a gorgeous sentiment from Paperbabe Stamps which can be used by itself, perfect when you need a lot of cards :)!!

Stamps: Paperbabe Stamps Love and Laughter

Other: Distress Inks, Versamark, Embossing Powder

This stamp, like all the stamps from the December Release are red rubber stamps mounted which each come with an acrylic block AND you can see the image at the back of the stamps - so convenient! The stamp stamps to perfection - all the white powder around is embossing powder I left on purpose because I do like to have lots of little white spots for snow on winter cards. I simply used my blending tool and Distress Inks to do the background, then stamped Love and Laughter in Versamark and embossed in white. It couldn't be any simpler, could it!!!

MiC Fairies at Quixotic Paperie :)

Hello everyone! I'm back to share a Christmas inspired card I made with my Make It Crafty stamps available from Quixotic Paperie - the Fairy Tag Tops and Santa Tag Tops which are perfect to make tags, name tags, little projects... or ATCs ;) So here is my little ATC on card :)

I stamped the two fairies from the Fairy Tag Tops set and coloured them in pencils using a combination of Polychromos and Luminance pencils. For the background, I used an ATC and coloured it with my Blending Tool and different Distress Inks. Then I stamped the 2 words and heart that come from the Santa Tag Tops set in Versamark, stamped snowflakes from the Fairy set and embossed them in white.

Hello everyone! I'm back to share another Christmas card, with a super cute Tiddly Inks image and sentiment:)

I printed my image called Be Merry And Bright on Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured it with my Copics. I started with the background as always, using a very light blue. I coloured all the lights last, using three Copics each time, first colouring the inside of the light with my medium shade, then outside the light with my lightest to give the idea of lights being on, then added a touch of my darkest shade inside the light. I die cut my image with a Spellbinders Label die and I used DPs by Bo Bunny.

Background: BG000

Dog: W0, 1, 3, 5

Sentiment: E40, Y000

Lights: R32, 35, 37, Y11, 15, 17, YG01, 03, 17

Shadow: BV00

Season's Greetings for Copic Europe

Hello everyone! I'm back to share a Christmas card I made for Copic Marker Europe - now is really the time to make winter cards says the panicked girl;)!!!

I have used one of my not so recent Penny Black stamps called Snowy and Hedgy. I stamped it on Make It Colour Blending Card and masked my image, added a couple masks to create the hills and airbrushed the background. I then coloured my scene and thought I would add a frame inspired by a number of cards I have seen recently. I cut a rectangle with a die, stamped a sentiment from the CC Designs Christmas Sentiments II set on it and put it on foam squares.
