Bonjour à tous! Présentation des nouveautés chez Paperbabe Stamps, qui seront disponibles samedi matin! Aujourd'hui, un nouveau style de chevelure, à coordonner avec les tampons Profile Face dans leur version Mini.

I decided to paint - so relaxing - and used this new template on a Paperbabe Stamps MDF Substrate. Because I wanted to really focus on ractising acrylics, I did not add pencils despite really wanting to ;)!!

J'ai décidé de faire un peu de peinture acrylique - sur un support MDF Paperbabe Stamps. JE m'en suis tenue à l'acrylique, le but étant de m'entraîner avec ce médium, donc je n'ai pas rajouté de crayon sur ma peinture malgré la tentation ;)!!

Tutorial - Mixed Media Halloween

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a step-by-step tutorial on how to make a Mixed Media Halloween scene. I chose to use 3 super cute Halloween stamps sets from the Kraftin' Kimmie Store - MINI MONSTERS, HAUNTED HOUSE and HARVEST BLESSINGS. I stamped elements from the Mini Monsters and Harvest Blessings set in Wicked Black Ink, did some fussy cutting and colored them in Copics.

Bonjour à tous! Je partage aujourd'hui un tuto sur une scène Mixed Media :) J'ai utilisé 3 sets de tampons Kraftin' Kimmie - MINI MONSTERS, HAUNTED HOUSE et HARVEST BLESSINGS. J'ai tamponné mes éléments à l'encre Wicked Black Ink, découpé mes images et je les ai mises en couleur au Copic.

Skin/ Peau: E21, 50, 51

Purple costume/ Costume violet: V09, 15, 17

Red Costume/ Costume rouge: C7, R35, 37, 39

Horns/ Cornes: E41, 43

Balloons/ Ballons: G28, YG01, 03, 17

Pumpkins/ Citrouilles: Y35, YG95, 99, YR04, 07, E08, 19

I used a square grey board and covered it in red, orange and yellow paints applied with a sponge.

J'ai utilisé un carton carré que j'ai recouvert de peinture rouge, orange et jaune, appliquée à l'éponge.

To add a bit of interest to my scene and really have a Halloween feel to it, I stamped the HAUNTED HOUSE in Versafine.

Une fois le fond sec, j'ai tamponné la maison HAUNTED HOUSE à l'encre Versafine.

I then coloured the house using Pitt pens and gel pens. I also created a hill using acrylic paint and a sponge so the house would not be floating in the air ;)!

J'ai colorié ma maison au feutre Pitt et j'ai aussi créé une colline avec mes peintures acryliques pour éviter que ma maison ne flotte dans les airs ;)!

Next, I decided to add a bit contrast to the sky, so I added a bit of Ruby Red Hybrid Ink with a sponge dauber on the edges of my sky, then some Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. I also stamped a little ghost and 2 stars, coloured with Posca pens.

J'ai ensuite tamponné avec une mousse de l'encre Ruby Red sur les bords de mon ciel et de la Distress Chipped Sapphire. J'ai aussi tamponné un petit fantôme et 2 étoiles, coloriés au Posca.

I then glued my elements on my board. The only character which I put on foam squares for a bit of dimension is the little purple monster.

J'ai collé tous mes éléments sur mon fond. Le seul élément collé sur mousse 3D pour avoir un peu de relief, est le petit monstre violet.

And lastly, I added a bit of gold to the edges of my board and some gel pen touches here and there. And voilà :)!

Enfin, j'ai rajouté du doré sur les bords de mon carton et des touches de stylo gel - et voilà :)!

J'ai tamponné un visage du set Profile Face Left Dinky à l'encre Versafine Smokey Grey et j'ai fait le contour des cheveux à l'aide d'un pochoir du set Dinky Templates Set. J'ai créé un fond et ai colorié ma dame au feutre aquarellable Graph'O.

I stamped a face from the Profile Face Left Dinky stamp set in Versafine Smokey Grey and traced aroung the Long Wavy Hair Template from the Dinky Templates Set. I watercoloured my lady and created my scene using Graph'O watercolour pens.

Oh, zeroes!!

Hello everyone! I'm back to share my make for the Copic Marker Europe blog. We all love Copics for their unique, gorgeous, vivid colours but there are also some amazing light, pastel colours among the 358 colours. With that in mind, I decided to use only "zero" colours for my post - 00, 000 and 0000. 

I made a bookmark and used Paperbabe Stamps templates and stamps on it. I stamped a face and shoulder from the Profile Face Left Dinky Stamp set and drew around a hair template with a black Copic multiliner to create my image. 

For once, I did not do the background first as I usually do, but for good reasons: I knew the colours would be very light, so no risk of dragging colour into my character; I wanted a very simple smooth background (when it is a full, complicated background, it can be tricky to colour and I may miss and need to start again); and also I wanted to use the same colours as for my hair and really needed to SEE my character coloured to adjust my background.

So, I coloured the skin first, in E000 and E0000. As you can see, I left some parts uncoloured to have a few highlights and still create some depth despite the use of 2 light-coloured markers.

I then coloured the hair in Bs and RVs. I used B00, 000, 0000 from the roots and RV00, 000 for the tips. I also added a touch of C0. After the hair, I finished colouring the skin of the shoulder and coloured the lips and eyelid in RV00.

For the background, I used the same idea as for my hair, with the same 2 colours to have a nice harmony. I started at the top with RV00, then RV000, 0000. Then I started from the bottom of my bookmark going towards the middle, using B00, then B000 and B0000. I left an uncoloured white part in the middle.

As a final touch, I added silver stars in gel pen, drawing them with the help of a stencil, plus a few dots and white highlights in gel pen too.

Dreaming of the Sea - Glimps DT

Hello everyone! With the extreme temperatures we are having at the moment, who is not dreaming of WATER ?!? Hence my post today, featuring the ocean and one of the super cute mermaids available from the Glimps store, called Sitting Mermaid. 

I printed my sirene, did some fussy cutting and coloured her in Copics.

I decided to create a background for my sirene on a grey board. I used Fresco acrylic paints, applied with a sponge, for my sky and sea.

J'ai créé un fond sur un carton avec des peintures acryliques Fresco, appliquées à l'éponge, pour faire le ciel et la mer.

To add more interest to the background, I drew some land, palm trees and birds using Pitt pens. I also added touches of white to the sea with a Gelly Roll pen.

Pour agrémenter un peu le fond, j'ai dessiné des palmiers et des oiseaux au feutre Pitt. J'ai aussi ajouté quleques touches de blanc à la mer avec un stylo gel Gelly Roll.

I then glued my sirene to my sirene to the background - and here is the little scene:

I used 3 elements and a sentiment from the Oceans of Love set and coloured everything in Copics. I then added touches of white gel pen. I then pierced my paper and did some handstitching.

J'ai utilisé 3 éléments et un sentiment du set Oceans of Love. J'ai tout colorié au Copic. J'ai ajouté quelques touches de stylo gel blanc. J'ai ensuite percé mon papier et cousu à la main.

July Release Krafy Hop

  Hello everyone! Today we are celebrating the release of all the new goodies from our July Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! All THREE new clear stamp sets are now available in the Krafty Shop, along with our new PARTY PEACH Ink, and our new PASTEL DOTS!!

Of course I had to make a bookmark! I stamped my image in Kraftin' Kimmie Wicked Black Ink and coloured it using Graph'O wtc markers. I then added a beautiful sentiment from the set and a few touches in gel pen.
