Melissa has been on the Tiddly Inks team since close to the beginning and although she has had to take some time off to deliver Brennan, we want her to know she is missed and that we are excited for her! Boo at Without Words and MiC NEW release!

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Without Words and this month our theme is "BOO"! All you have to do is to make a CAS card featuring an image coloured by you and you could win the prize offered by Crafter's Companion - a £10 Voucher to their store!

I have made a spooky scene using images from the all brand new Make It Crafty Halloween release - have you seen them??? They are just awesome!!! And there are even bonus videos by Zoe when you buy the Halloween 2014 Collection;)! 

Here is my scene using 8 different images of this release...

I started with the Grunge Frame 6x6 and built my scene inside it. I put Little Fangs in the middle, Frazzled Cat on the left (mirrored image to look towards the inside of the scene), Pumpkin Face, Grizzly Bear, Bare Tree and added a Spider on the ground, and some in the tree plus a Web in the upper right hand corner. And for a nice little touch in the upper left corner, I added Ghostly (mirrored too and of which I printed another copy of to cut it out and put it on foam squares after I coloured the scene at the end). I printed my scene on Make It Colour Blending Card, masked it, airbrushed the background and then coloured everything with my Copics.

Season's Greetings at Quixotic Paperie:)

Hello everyone! I have some Christmas inspiration today using another cutie from The Greeting Farm - Holiday Anya 4 available from Quixotic Paperie!

I stamped Holiday Anya 4 on Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured her in Copics, then cut her out. On a piece of white cardstock, I stamped the Holiday Blessings sentiment which comes from a great The Greeting Farm set called Dollie With Gifts (you can see a card with Dollie HERE). I then added a piece of Echo Park DPs and some glitter tape and red dots.

Christmas Joy at Quixotic Paperie!

Hello everyone! Happy Sunday... and Christmas:)! The new Greeting Farm stamps available from Quixotic Paperie have put me in Christmas mode and given me the perfect excuse to use my all time favourite Make It Crafty backgrounds and to make a little scene! 

I stamped Dollie With Gifts in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Make It Colour Blending Card, masked her, then stamped Make It Crafty Pine Trees three times, using both trees that come in the set. Those trees are also part of the Make It Crafty Winter Backgrounds Collection - a must have for all your winter cards! I coloured my scene in Copics and added one of the sentiments that comes with the Greeting Farm Dollie With Gifts stamp set.

I bought some Winsor & Newton Markers not long ago, and although I have little practice with watercolour markers in general, I really liked playing with them. The sky was done using my regular Sennelier watercolours, which I also used for the blades in the foreground.

J'ai acheté quelques marqueurs aquarellables Winsor & Newton récemment, et bien que j'aie peu d'entraînement avec les marqueurs aquarellables, j'ai beaucoup aimé les utiliser. Pour le ciel, j'ai utilisé mes Sennelier habituelles et pour les brins d'herbe aussi - le reste est du marqueur.

Tiddly Christmas at Quixotic Paperie :)

I have used Willow Christmas Fairy, stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black onto Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured her all in Copics. I die cut her using an MFT die and then added a bit of Stormy Sky and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks on the edges. I put my fairy on a piece of Bo Bunny DP and simply added a snowflake button. 

J'ai utilisé Willow Christmas Fairy, tamponnée à l'encre Memento sur papier Make It Colour Blending Card et je l'ai coloriée au Copic. Je l'ai découpée avec une découpe MFT et j'ai ajouté un peu d'encre Distress Stormy Sky et Chipped Sapphire sur les bords. J'ai placé ma fée sur du papier Bo Bunny et ajouté un bouton flocon.

Copic Gorjuss Rabbit

Hello everyone! I'm back to share the card I made for Copic Europe Marker and it's a Gorjuss Girl post in brown today. I love Gorjuss Girls and these stamps being quite big, I thought I would completely put the focus on her.

This Gorjuss Girl stamp is called I Love You Little Rabbit. I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Make It Colour Blending Card and coloured it all in Copics. I started with the background using different shades of brown without trying to blend it all - an idea and technique first used by my beloved friend Zoe - and then coloured my image, using some of the same colours I used for the background. I then added Distress Inks Tea Dye and Vintage Photo around the borders.

Spooky Kit at Quixotic Paperie:)

Hello everyone! As you may have seen the new Tiddly Inks clear stamp sets have reached the Quixotic Paperie store and there are also some great new The Greeting Farm stamps! The Spooky Kit has arrived and has everything you need for Halloween;) 

I stamped my image from the Spooky Kit on Make It Colour Blending Card, coloured her with my Copics and cut her out. To make the background, I used watercolour paper, acrylic paint and a Memory Box cobweb stencil. I then stamped the Happy Halloween sentiment from the Spooky Kit, placed my background on a punched square and added my Greeting Farm cutie on foam pads.

Paperbabe Stamps Release Day!

Hello everyone! Happy day, the September Paperbabe stamps are available today!!! My teamies have shared gorgeous makes this week to show you all the new stamps available in red rubber and new digis! If you have missed the previews, you can catch up on the Paperbabe Stamps Blog HERE! 

I have used a character I just love, Mayleedee Witchily, which is now available as red rubber cling mounted:) I have decided to make an "ATC on card" as I like doing :)

I coloured Mayleedee and the background with Copics and added the sentiment which comes with the stamp set. I sponged several Distress Inks around her and added a bit of texture with a stamp and Mustard Seed Ink. The "tape" and stitching were done in Versafine Onyx Black.
